Does anyone know if the mopar 2in lift is compatible with a 2019 2WD truck, some people say yes and others say no, what’s the difference between the 4x2 and 4x4 suspension. Would I be better going with Motofab 2.5 level ?

Same suspension. The only difference in your 2wd is your missing the front axle(s).

So if I forked out 4 grand for the bds 6in coilover kit it should fit even though it doesn’t say anything about 2wd ?

I have a 2019 Big Horn 4x2 (6’4” box) with the 2” Mopar lift, the first 2 dealers I inquired with said it could not be done, the third (also the one who did the install for me) said that they “are doing them on 4x2’s all the time”.

I have had no issues (been installed for about 40 days, 1000 miles) ride is just as good as stock.

Trying to figure out if the actual lift they put on is pre or post TSB, front still looks a little low... if it is post TSB and this is all the height I’m going to get out of the Mopar lift, I might try to add the ORG springs to gain another 1” of lift in the front. I got the idea from this forum, only wish I came across the thread prior to having the lift installed as it would of only ran me an extra $100 for the ORG springs, that’s if it’s even possible on a 4x2 - which I don’t see why not.

You have a picture of your truck with this setup?
I plan on doing the same but adding the org springs

I decided I’m going to go with CST 4” spindle lift for my truck Instead, I don’t want any rake which the mopar kit has and the spindle will keep the factory geometry with no rake, sounds best for me.

Here are some pics, still on stock tires & wheels, I have some Falken Wildpeaks (295/70r18) coming next week- I’ll be mounting them on the stock wheels for now.

Called my dealership today to inquire about adding the ORP/ORG springs to my Mopar lift. They told me that if I wanted an extra 1” - 1 1/2” lift in the front they could flip the spring seat that mounts on the shock upside down. I asked how the ride quality was and the said it was the same, they then told me I could come test drive the set up as the had just installed it on 3 of their showroom trucks. I’m going to try to make it there in the next day or two to do a test drive.

I asked about any extra strain on the lift components, they said it was fine, it only raises the spring on the shock, and that the shock actually has the additional travel to handle the raised position... however they did say to avoid any “extreme off-roading” with the lift set up like that.

I believe I saw someone on this forum who had the Mopar lift installed with the seat reversed by accident, I don’t remember what they said about the ride/stance however... I’m going to look for that thread - if anyone knows of that thread and can post the link I would appreciate it. Same if anyone has already tried reversing the spring seat. Maybe a knew tread titled reversed spring seat might help?

Found the thread where forum member CraigB had his spring perch installed upside down, he described the ride as “bouncy”, but he was also running the ORP springs... maybe those springs with the inverted perch was just to much extension for the shock???
I’m looking forward to test driving one of these with the inverted perch.

Below are screenshots from his post.

I'm curious to know how the ride is.

I went by the dealership today to check out the trucks they set up with the inverted spring perch/seat. The truck itself looked great and was completely leveled out. However looking closer at the inverted perch, I personally feel it will be prone to early failure...

With the spring perch in the proper position, the perch has a flat surface sitting on what is for the most part, another flat surface on the shock itself. Invert the perch and you no longer have that flat surface on the perch - instead you have a radius or chamfered surface contacting the flat surface on the shock. So instead of two flat surfaces sitting on one another, you now have the perch pressure fitting around the shock. Gotta wonder if over time that radius/chamfered side of the perch will not condense/crush the raised area around the shock (that makes the flat area for the perch to sit on) into the shock.

That’s my thoughts, and given that for an additional $100 in the cost of ORP springs, one can avoid this risk all together, I can say I definitely will not be running the inverted perch set up myself. Kind of feel sorry for the people who buy those trucks honestly.

All that said, I put the Falken Wildpeaks on my truck today and really like the way it is sitting now... I’m not really sure I even want to lift it anymore than the Mopar 2” lift already has.

The 295/70r18’s are 34.4” in diameter (essentially the same diameter as the 35” BFG K02’s (K02 is 34.5” in diameter) however the Falken is only 11.7” in width, making it possible to mount on stock 18” rims.

Nice truck! How’s the ride compared to stock ?
Im on the fence on going with the ORG springs+ Mopar 2” lift.
Thanks, I do not have the ORG springs... I’m debating on adding them.

I had the Mopar 2” lift on the truck for a good month before swapping the tires so I had plenty of time/miles to evaluate the ride quality of the lift with the stock tires. I think the truck rode better with the Mopar lift then it did stock, now that I put on the class E/10 ply tires the ride is noticeably rougher... still however very nice for a lifted truck with 10 ply’s.

Yeah I’m worried if I were to add the ORG Coils to the Mopar lift it will be rougher or bouncier..
Do you know how much lift those ORG spring combined with Mopar 2” lift will give you?
