Rambox/E-torque order tracking

I have a Ram Etorque on order without Ramboxes. I have the VIN. How can I track it and how to I learn about the codes you are all referencing. Also, why are you using the term "lemon replacement" on a new truck in production?

Scottahaire, you and I must be in the same boat( I mean the inspection phase) . We both have builds which include Ram boxes. Yours was built one day before mine and I also I'm just sitting there in the "I-Phase" waiting, waiting, waiting!!! It would be nice to know if the ramboxes are already installed or is that not the reason that we're not progressing any further along in the Build.

I’m not positive about when boxes are installed. Mine has moved through inspection stage and in the Budd Yard holding. I’m being told by my dealer that the RDM said it is waiting for RamBoxes.

Nice to see movement on some of the orders... I placed my order with the dealer 5/1, dealer placed their order 5/4... truck went D1 on 7/1, then back to D on 8/15 or so... and no change since. Sitting at 113 days since order. My local General Manager called me last week stating he was told the truck had shipped but the buildsheet url and windowsticker url come back with errors still. 1C6SRFHTXKN595596... Lemon Replacement for the wife’s ‘16 Sport. Spoke with Ram Customer Care and KN595596 pulls up as another much older vehicle in their system. He has to put in an escalation ticket without a VIN references as it kept pulling up as the older vehicle and not my wife’s order. Thing whole process seems like a cluster-f&$k of epic proportions.

hey man, They have reused the last 8 of the vin from some earlier vehicles. Many folks who only give the last 8 of VIN are pulling up as Plymouth Sundances. I'm still in D with you and my order was placed with RAM on 5/2. I was feeling a bit lonely. Its nice to have company!. BTW. Your order is not on the google tracking sheet. Do you want me to add you?

You misread. His wife's '16 Sport is being "lemon lawed". The new truck is the replacement.

I was thinking of waiting until the 5th gen made it to the 2500s, but I needed a truck, and I found a great deal in SoCal, so I went ahead and jumped in. So far, really pleased. View attachment 1859

So even though I gave up on the 1500 and bought the 2500, I have still been tracking my 1500 Limited/Rambo’s/Offroad build. It actually went D1 today! Order date was 5/21.

Truck finally made it to Dealer, Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, ID. Will pick it up on Tuesday 8-28. One of the first Rebels with Ramboxes. Ordered on 5-10-18. 108 days from order to delivery to dealership. This odyssey is almost over!

Maybe it's because I NEVER bothered Ram about it at all According to MOTS, mine has now left SHAP on a railcar and checked in at a station in Sterling (presumably en route to Texas).

I haven't tracked my original order but I bet its moving along also,kinda curious... Wished I wouldn't have had to reorder due to the tow group mirrior fiasco ! Lol

I'm in the same boat.......it's now just over two months and my 2nd order is still in D status........sure wish FCA would send a little love my way...........

Congrats Slim. You have been waiting way too long as have I but mine is finally on a train. I hope you get yours very soon so you can finally get to enjoy it.
