I bought a 2019 Ram 1500 about two weeks ago. Truck had 600 miles on it when I bought it. At around 1000 miles it developed a bumping and clunking noise in the front end. The truck drives like **** and wobbles side to side.

I had a very similar experience like yours happen to me. Bought truck with 6 miles on it. At around 1,000 miles I started getting the clunking which got consistently worse. Every little imperfection in the road I would hear and feel the chatter/ clatter / metal on metal clanking... However I didn't have any ride issues like your're claiming to have. Ended up being loose sway bar links that needed to be re torqued. Dealership fixed the issue within an hour. I am now at 10,000 miles on my truck and I haven't had any issues since.

The truck has a leveling kit that the dealership installed before I bought it. Wondering if they did something wrong.
One side has a gap at the spring and the other side doesn’t. 37140036-7259-4F2B-8AC8-93D5F4938867.jpeg 388298A1-4CDD-493A-8EA0-CC3668AC27B4.jpeg 6953C967-D171-417D-8FC6-76B916F1F6DB.jpeg 388298A1-4CDD-493A-8EA0-CC3668AC27B4.jpeg

Ahhh. Now that would explain the ride quality issues you are experiencing. Have you measured the Height from the ground to the top of your Wheel wells up front?

Truck is going back to the dealership for fourth time today. Took some pictures of what I think is the problem!

I’m having a clunking on my driver side that sounds skillet to this. I’d be curious to see the fix in yours.

I had it too.
Two part problem:
First was passenger side swaybar link was loose.
Then, my driver side strut was coming apart.
Fixed under warranty.

Purchased my new 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn 4x4 with the air suspension on 11/25/2019. Driven the truck for 3 weeks, picked up hard plates on 12/6/19. Cruising around on Sunday 12/8/19 and was driving home, made right turn at low speed, heard a clunking noise. I went into my apartment garage over a speed bump at low speed and heard the clunking noise again. As I kept turning the corners to the next floors of the garage, I kept hearing the clunk. So I cruised around a bit and the clunk can be heard going over any small road bumps/imperfections. My truck only has 798 miles on it, dropped it off at 9AM on Monday 12/9/19. Was given time frame of Tuesday afternoon-Wednesday. This is my first FCA vehicle so issues this early on are frustrating and concerning, I am crossing my fingers. I got the Max Care warranty so I'm not paying a dime even with rental and shouldn't be with a new vehicle like this. I called RamCare, was given a case number, but not sure if they actually will do anything. Sent e-mail to Sales Manager, and Owner of Dealership. Hopefully the issues get resolved, because I enjoy the truck.

Have the dealer check the rack & pinion, Some of them had to be replaced.

Sounds like your front sway bar needs to be tightened, there’s a TSB for the problem. I had the exact same issue and fixed in 5 minutes.

Thank you for your reply, I just got the truck back from the dealer, and that was indeed the problem. I wish they fixed it in 5 minutes for me, instead of a whole day. The service department attempted to charge me $37.00 for tightening bolts. I started calling sales manager and was fixing to call the owner. I told them I wasn't paying for warranty work especially for a new vehicle and especially after I bought the Max Care extending warranty...then they said oh sorry we made a mistake, you don't owe anything.

Glad you got it resolved. Did your dealer not realize there was a TSB for the repair?

Guess not. Before I dropped it off, I told them about the issues mentioned on the forums concerning sway bar. Service tech called and said what you saw on the internet was correct, we tightened your bolts.
