Just curious: out the door for $36.1 for 2019 classic 4wd, quad cab, new (67miles), V6 no etorque, more options than I will ever be able to figure out how to use. Is that a good deal? My only complaint is that I cant figure out how to turn off the seat belt not being used noise, and cant find a fuse to pull to shut it down. Does anyone know how to disable the seat belt indicator/noise?
There is a YouTube video showing how to turn them off and I believe it’s also in the manual.

Guys just remember you are buying a year old truck. Even though its newly titled, the next day its a low mileage year old truck, so your deal has to take that big 1st year depreciation into effect. Im not saying anything about anyones reported prices, just a reminder that sometimes ordering a 20’ may be a good idea, especially if your choices of truck and options is getting low.

if you want the multifunction tailgate and maybe some tsb’s already applied then go for a 20’. Don’t accept some wrong optioned early build 19‘ unless they are darn near paying you to take it.

Agree. I was comparing pricing on the classic vs the new 19s and I'm surprised how expensive the classics are when I bet they will depreciate faster the new 19. I think the classic are only a good deal if the same truck in the new body is at least 5gs less

I got right at $12K off of a Ram 1500 Limited with MSRP right at $68K. Final price was right around $56K. It was year end pricing so little haggling and they gave me right at what I expected for Trade in. Looks like some got better deals but I was happy. They also still had adequate inventory so I was able to get one I wanted. It was early September 2019.

Man, I remember my first pickup was a loaded 2000 Ford F150 Lariat which was $26K! Man these things have gotten expensive, Or I've gotten old, or both!

both! lol

twenty years later. Time flies!

True...but you aren't considering that there will be a positive effect by buying late into the model year because your truck will have accumulated little/no mileage in it's first year which pays you back when you sell it with lower mileage per year.

I‘m not saying you are wrong but I think the 1st year depreciation outweighs the low mileage credit. Now I’m not going to do all the research putting in KBB and NADA phantom trucks, just my gut idea. Its all moot if the buyer keeps the truck for 8-10 yrs however only a few do that. As long as the buyer is happy with their find, then it’s all good.

A quick Dennis Dillon RAM in Idaho website check shows an average of $12K off all trims except the Rebel, which was 10K off msrp. These are the 2019’s and include the Classic.

Another good deal. Thats the way to buy, and akin to the prices last June. While you guys are driving FCA/RAM to bankruptcy, I tried to keep them at least profitable when I bought in April...

How do you know what kind of deal that was ?? Without the specifics one cannot tell anything. What REBATES were applied ?? Some get many, some qualify for almost none. Plus the fact that rebates are NOT negotiated. You mention above how GREAT the prices are at D Dillion, avg TWELVE thousand off. Is that with EVERY rebate figured into the price that NO ONE will get ?? How many years were you in the Car biz ??

I figured I can take the 3-5% depreciation hit for the first year... dealer takes 17.12% hit... I don’t know if that’s accurate but... in my mind it’s good... so, I guess that’s all that matters
You kidding? Kelly Blue Book. Just looked up a 2019 Ram Fully Loaded Crew Cab 6'4" bed with every option with 1 mile in Above Average Condition. Boom! $37,500 trade in value. MSRP would be about $66k. That's a 43% depreciation in the first year right off the lot!!. So, no matter what kind of deal you plan on getting on your truck, you'll be out nearly $15-20k the moment you drive off the lot guaranteed.

Lol!! So Because I got a great deal, Im driving a multi bllion $ company to bankruptcy, That's some funny ****. By the way, there isn't a dealer in the world who sells a vehicle for a loss!! They still made a lot of money and got my car that was worth $23,000 and I only got $18,000 for it. You must be a car salesman because to think that a single person getting a good deal is bad and sticking up for a multi billion $ company over a average person is crazy! I love Ram and FCA and have only owned FCA vehicles. 5 of them actually. The stuff people say!!!! lol

Great deal. I just bought new 19 Laramie, level 2, 12", pano roof. I got 27% off MSRP. Very similar to your savings. My first Dodge ever, I'm a Ford guy. This ram blows away the ford.

Ha ha very funny, Merely saying that on 2020’s getting 10 off a rebel without even trying is pretty good. Maybe you should check that dealer, or Koonz, or Lara Ram near St Louis, and see for yourself.
I merely think its great for buyers to have the 20’s already discounted that much, and specifically to get the deal that the poster mentioned is a great price on a new truck. A Laramie for $38K? You can barely find an F150 for that, oh wait,: here’s a bottom of the line trim 2019 XL crew for a grand less. That’s at least a comparable truck to a Laramie, right? Ha ha ha

Welcome to the site. I'm a new member myself, just trying to get as much information as possible. I'd like to order a 2020 Limited next year but need to see how the economy goes. I have purchased my last two vehicles at the same dealership. A 2014 Ram
Big Horn and a 2018 Jeep Cherokee for the wife. I got what I feel was really good deals on both of them. I was talking to the sales manager about ordering a new Ram, and he indicated that he would sell it to me for his actual cost. He of course would keep the hold back for his profit. Anybody ever gotten a deal like this before?? Let me know your thoughts.
