Anyone know why the 2020 has a 5 yr / 100k powertrain warranty while the 2019 only shows a 5 yr / 60k powertrain warranty?

“The 2020 Ram 1500 is backed with a five-year /100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty.”

What am I missing?

That might only be for the diesel. They used to have the 100k warranty on all, but in 16 they went to the 60k. I suppose they could be bringing it back, but the current trend is gas has 60k and diesel gets 100k.

It’s sort of a joke though, depending on the brand (unsure about ram), a lot of stuff isn’t covered anyways. (Fuel system, DPF, SCR). You know..... the stuff that actually breaks.
