Just swing by your dealership on get it replaced. No biggie.....
I had the chrome window molding replaced last year. Took the dealer a couple of days to get it and then maybe a half hour or so to r&r it. I'm sure that's all they'll do with yours. You obviously won't leave it while waiting for the part to show up. Good luck with it.Thanks, I wasn't sure what do LOL. I am looking for other members who may have the issue, or may have gotten it addressed already by their dealer.
Time for a new dealership. Hard to believe they cannot fix something simple like that. If they cannot fix it then they got the wrong part or the door or door trim is warped.I am reviving this thread because the dealer finally got the parts in and I haven't seen it yet but they told it looks worse now then before they started. It was my biggest concern with letting them do it, but I am trying to keep this thing long term and I don't want it to be right!
Anyone else have any input on these seals being replaced?

No, but my dealer did replace the molding on my driver's side with no issues. And they did it in a short period of time. I am only saying that there are only two things that should go wrong with that part, wrong part or warped door. What else could be left? I guess there is the possibility that the part could be right and the dealership technicians just don't know how to install it, but...Do you have experience replacing them?

Mine was due to broken molding. But I still don’t see what the problem is here. Did it come from the factory like that? Are the other doors like that or are they correct? Again, ain’t rocket science. Either wrong part, warped door frame or less than knowledgeable technicians. Anyway, good luck with it, hope you can get it figured out.Was it replaced for the same reason? They did the seals look fine until the door panel is put on but I don't know how they come together so it didn't make sense

Mine are smooth and tight too, warranty should cover that
Very obvious they are defective. Any dealer should replace those without a hassle.Take a look at these drivers and passenger side front window moldings. Does yours look like this? When I see this stuff, I really start thinking about the long term quality of this truck.
