I dont think anyone has posted feedback on replacing the headliner speakers.

I wonder if it would make a big difference or if there would be fitment issues.
I replaced my headliner speakers with the JBLs. I dont notice a difference from the front seat (which you shouldn't). They barely fit.

I have the Alpine system and I put Kicker 44KSC3504 speakers in all 3 locations in my dash and I am extremely happy. They made a HUGE improvement over the stock speakers and I DID NOT lose any volume. I have 1 left and want to try the fitment in my headliner so I can change them out too if they fit. I am hoping that they will fit because I like the results so far.

I just pulled one of my headliner grills, and yes, a little tough to get loose, but once you have one corner off, the others are easier. I took the single Kicker 44KSC3504 and fit it into place with ZERO issues and the holes lined up perfectly. I am ordering another pair from Crutchfield now to get the second one I need to replace both. I am hoping that the Metra Connectors supplied will be the same as what was in the dash, 72-7902.

I used my Bojo Trim Panel tools and took the flat spade one and put the smooth side to the headliner across the underneath side of one corner and popped it up with a little pressure and wiggling. Then I was able to get my fingers under it and work my way around each corner. When it pops, is has a harsh snapping sound like it is breaking, but it comes out perfectly.

I added the Kicker dash corner speakers this afternoon. My gosh the sound is so much better.
