The LED headlights are not plug and play. The adapter is required to make them work with the existing OEM wiring harness.

It worked great, everything was fine and worked as normal - accent lights, parking lights, highs, lows, DRL, etc. Mine happened to short out because the headlight filled with water. This is in no way due to the adapter. The headlight was brand new OEM directly from Mopar, and it was defective. I'm hoping that the adapter took the brunt and the other headlight is fine. I won't know until I get a new harness..

Ya it sounds like one of the headlights allowed water to get in which blew the fuse causing both to fail. So I am thinking your other headlight is fine.

Thanks for all of the good info you have provided man you have given me hope in a dark time lol. I really, really love this truck. Honestly it’s by far the best vehicle I have ever owned and it drives smoother than my 328i which is kinda shocking. I definitely don’t mind working on my car as long as I can do it for a fair price without messing anything up.

Jeremy at Retro Shop is a petty stand-up dude. I told him about my situation and he sent me a new adapter at no charge. I was totally willing to buy another one. I don't think the adapter was to blame at all....

My replacement headlight shipped today as well. Now, with a little luck, I could have full LEDs again by the end of the week. My fingers are crossed that the other light is not dead.

Back in business! :D

Today would've been perfect for me to install them if I had bought them. I've just got to be patient. :(

Thats the light if anyone interested, 350+50 of shipping
The light works perfectly the light was replaced by the insurance because someone scratch my bumpers backing up and scratch the light as well.
I'm sure the scratch can be buff out

Thank you. I washed it yesterday. No leaks! I sprayed the headlights for like 10 mins straight!

That truck looks gorgeous with the LED lights now. I really wanted that color at first but they just couldn't get me what I wanted exterior wise haha. These trucks are so sexy though I even took a second look at mine chromed out yesterday and was still really impressed with it. This guy at the hospital was staring at me a little later on the way back from lunch so I stopped and asked him if i had a flat or something and he said he just really liked the truck. I am going to black it out and post pics, but I am going to hook mine up a little different than what i have seen everyone else do. Cant wait.

I hear ya. I like mine to look just a little bit different then everyone else's. I think they're by far the coolest looking trucks out there right now - whether it be sport appearance or chrome, it's just personal preference.

I bought mine off the lot and it was the only sport appearance that they had at the time.. I went back and forth between a Patriot blue one with chrome, and the one that I ultimately got, but I could have gone either way. I liked both of them. What sold me wasn't the bumpers, it was the grill and header panel. I just like the color matched a little better than the chrome.

I've spent quite a bit of money over the last two months on wheels/tires and lights. I think I'm done for a while. In fact, I know I am...my wife already told me!! I like how it looks now anyway. One thing I do want to get is rear wheel well liners, but I'm not in a big hurry. Definitely before winter. Those are cheap anyway.

My halogens leak. One of the many things that’ll be resolved when my LED’s and harness show up.

FYI if you do get any moisture or fogging you can throw in a desiccant packet... works like a charm, pretty fast too.

Yeah, I read that somewhere. This was extreme, not just a little fogging/ moisture. It was soaked. Even the new ones, I noticed a little fogging the other night when it was humid out.

If anyone’s looking, I’m probably going to be removing my led heads and fogs. Zero issues just looking at getting rid of the truck. Let me know
