It’s been a while since I’ve had time to go shooting. My new “friend” from the forum asked me to go, so I said heck yeah!

This is one of my weekend plinkers. As a Ruger girl, I went with the AR556! I changed out the grips and went with the red anodized charging handle and take down pins. Vortex red dot and magnifier. I use the 10 round when bench shooting, Pmag30 the rest of the time.

Let’s see what everyone shoots! Sport rifles, hunting rifles, pistols, archery, black powder, anything!

Awesome! .. That is too clean to be shooting .. you must leave that on your wall as "ART"

I won't have photos until I get home but:

StagArms 2T 5.56 (modified)
Beretta 92FS
S&W M&P .40
Kimber TLE II 45 ACP
Sig-Sauer 45 Compact (shoulder rig)
Ruger 6.5 Creedmore
Savage 30-06
Couple shot guns
Couple bows

I won't say which, but some are for duty, others are personal, some are a mix of both :)

Another person with refined taste in firearms, well done (y)

Any relationship that starts with trucks and guns, has a solid foundation for a lasting friendship for years to come

One thing for sure, you have good taste in plinkers.
Certainly beats dinner and a movie! Growing up in a military and law enforcement family, I’ve know my way around firearms since I was young. I have a nice collection, fills all my sport/hunting/defense needs.

This was one of the FUN ones we did .. 7 yards .. using the S&W M&P .40

Instructor would call out color or number or shape and you always fired twice (so if there were 2 diamonds, you would fire 1 at each shape.) It took a couple tries with the new firearm to "Kentucky Windage" for me to figure out the alignment .. afterwards, I turned it into our gunsmith for finalization for my eyesite. The BEST one was the next qualification and instructor placed a traffic cone at the line with a golf ball on top .. we fired from 3 yards and then from 25 yards .. THAT was a blast!

The X's are from our main FBI Qual paper that was placed on top prior to us being able to take this one off the cardboard.

That does sound like a fun drill. I like those target papers, I need to get some!!

Being in the military I have shot pretty well everything in the Canadian army up to 155mm Howizter and where I worked in the military pretty well every SWAT/TRU weapons for every police force in Canada. Now that I am retired I have to pay for my own ammo :(.
I mainly use (handguns)S&W M&P M2.0 9mm, S&W Model 41, S&W Charlton Custom Target Revolver that I use to shot PPC/IPSC
(rifles)S&W M&P 15 modified to my specs, Ruger Mini 30. few other various rifles

What I like about where I now work is that you can actually do drills and buddy shoot -- which most private gun ranges put you in lanes for safety (cuz the general public would more than likely hurt themselves or someone else).

@2019REBEL I'm sure you are used to having your buddy firing over your shoulder from behind .. puts a whole new spin on things.

@danielle2019 I still say that is ART and not a firing weapon cuz it is just too darn purdy! LOL J/K

I want that Kimber. How do you like it?

dead on right out of the box.
only issue I had is the standard internal ejection port issue - they said to send it in and they'd replace the weapon but I just reworked it and never had the issue again.

I just take really good care of my stuff! Just like the truck, I love it to be pretty and shiny! But I’ll throw it in the dirt without hesitation. I just get to shine it up again :p

HAHAHAHAH ... same thing with my previous off road I had .. wash it .. and take it straight to the mudhole .. it gets dirty prettier!
dirt on dirt not as pretty as dirt on clean :)

@Diamondback yep including being shot at...that's the fun part...not
Nothing like friendly fire and that was 105mm Howitzer air burst probably about 100 meters away, I still have the piece of shrapnel that ripped my rain jacket and lodged itself into the side of the truck

Trucks and guns, what's not to love?
Don't have any pictures on my phone, but my current list is

Ruger Precision Rifle 6.5 creedmore with vortex viper 5-25x50 FFP with the EBR2-MOA reticle.

My EDC (shown) is a Lionheart LH9 with Novak sights - one of the prettiest guns I have ever seen IMHO.

My other favorites are my Sig P250SC (I see this gun get a lot of grief and I just don't understand it - the trigger pull is smooth as melted butter and it shoots as straight as any full size out there) and my Canick TP9, which is basically a Walther P99 clone but for half the price.

Range day is way overdue! ! !

How do you like that scope of yours? Do you ever really "need" the gizmos and gadgets on there? I don't mean to sound snarky or rude, but I've always done my adjustment math on paper on I've been highly considering a new toy line the x-sights, but I just don't know how useful or user friendly that kinda stuff would be. By "need" I meant does it ever make you're job a lot easier? Is it something that now that you've used it you couldn't go back to not having it?
