Today I just added a 35% tint to the front windows......sad that even this is illegal in California. Probably gonna go Darker on the rear View attachment 27913

That would suck! I did mine not to far back with Ceramic tint. 32% front windows and windshield strip, 18% in the back and rear which darkened more with the already tinted factory coating. Hoping to get to the shop this Saturday to get the muffler swapped out for a Flowmaster 40 Series.

Just dropped my truck off for tint and PPF. Getting Suntek Ceramic Tint on all 4 windows and on the rear window. 18% on the Driver and Front passenger and 55% on top of the factory on the Backseat windows and rear. Getting Suntek PPF on the whole front of the truck from the Hood line down plus Headlights and Mirror Caps. Decided the hood wasn't worth it and I'll do Ceramic coating there instead. All in I got it for $980 plus tax and that includes doing a clay bar everywhere that the PPF was going and touch up paint on 5-6 rock chips that I got already before the PPF could be installed.

Day 2, mostly been jollying about and loving it even more:love:

I picked up a house door and utilised the bed extender, thanks to this forum I'd ordered the pegs in advance, really impressed with the Ram box bed divider/extender much better than the one on my old F150.

Oh and currently 12.something US MPG which is over 15 in UK imperial gallons and I think quite good, its very cool that I can select UK MPG rather than having to convert it.

But the Weather is Amazing!

My brother in law lives in San Diego and I'll give you that, but I'll take my Florida weather along with no income tax and cheaper housing all day. Hurricane's are our only real threat and I have lived here for 33 years and never had any real damage and lost power maybe 10 days total over those 33 years. Worth it, plus I'm a short 90 min drive to the Keys.

The good. Finally finished most of the things I have wanted to get done to include new wheels and tires and ready lift 3.5 lift.

The bad. Took it in for its first oil change just after 5000 miles. The mechanic comes out to get me and shows me the CV axel is “blown”. Said it could be the lift stressing the axel, improper installation of the lift, or just something that happens. Stated he had seen them delivered to the dealer like that before. Luckily, they said they will cover it under warranty.

Contacted readylift and they said they haven’t seen this as an issue. Anyone else with a ready lift have any issues?

Added Amp-Research Bedstep (back) and Bedstep 2 (side). Much easier to get in / out of the bed. The side one clears the factory step also. Very happy.

Anyone with a Bedrug XLT? I just got mine in from Luke at Truck Alterations and the instructions show a J-Clip but it wasn’t in the box. Is mine missing it or does it need to be sent separately?

Installed the Go Rhino D6 Dominator running boards. Very sturdy...I like them a lot. Threw in a shot of my size 13 shoe to give a reference of how much surface area I have when getting into the truck.

Mine was still in the box, I went back and looked for it and it was there.
