I’m deciding between Black, crystal granite, maximum steel and ivory tricoat. I currently have a 2017 Laramie pearl white that has a cream tinge to it that I hate. Is the Ivory tricoat more “white” thanks.

Bud, you need to go look at it for yourself. Everyone sees colors differently. Also and be sure to check out some of the comments on this forum regarding the ivory tricoat. Some owners have had bad experiences with it. I happen to have a Limited in ivory tricoast and like it....but

^^this. Everyone loves something different. The max steelninfind cool because sometimes looks blue, gray or black. I went with granite but if they had a max steel I would have checked it out. Black is classic but shows swirls and dust etc. White isn’t my thing. But it’s your decision!

Don’t buy the black one, it’s a second job to keep it clean. This is my 4th black vehicle, some people never learn ... sigh

Every speck of dust, pollen or tree sap shows on black....and then it's hot as hell.....not for me

Another Vote for white here. Love my tri-coat longhorns color. I've had black, grey, etc, but as others mention the darker the color the harder it is to keep clean, and the harder it is to clean it up properly to avoid swirls, etc. The wife's car is one thing but the RAM is a lot of real estate to keep shined up and swirl free.

I prefer the bright white over the ivory but obviously that is not available in all trim levels. The Ivory is better than those of the past but can see a noticeable difference when side by side.

I have the ivory and it’s definitely not the cream look like your 2017. Huge difference.

I feel like mine is more white than cream. It’s a white pearl.
Agreed. They don’t even have that much pearl, for a supposed tri-coat finish. Nothing like the excellent “white diamond tri-coat” from Cadillac, for example. I might’ve gone white if that were the case.

Don’t get me wrong; it still looks nice. But it reads as a regular metallic white, in my opinion. And the extensive mismatch issues between cabs, beds, and flares indicate that FCA is having trouble getting it right.

Yeah definitely not like the white diamond Cadillac color that I actually love too! I have an appreciation for white cars so it works for me big time and was my number one choice for sure. Maximum steel was my second choice.

It's basically a fine grained metallic white, I love it. It matches my wife's Tri Coat Ivory Jeep Grand Cherokee, that's why I got it.
