Terry Crews Headlines Ram’s New “Epic Launch” Campaign
Crews Turns Up The Volume As Ram Kicks Off Its College Football “Epic Launch” Campaign

Ram Trucks is kicking off the college football season in true high-energy fashion—by recruiting actor, musician, and all-around powerhouse Terry Crews as the face and singing voice of its latest national campaign, “Epic Launch.” Known for his larger-than-life personality and breakout roles in “White Chicks,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” and “Idiocracy,” Crews brings a perfect mix of humor, muscle, and heart to Ram’s football-inspired marketing push.
The campaign, which runs throughout the entire 2025 college football season, celebrates America’s love for trucks, tailgates, and the spirit of game day. Produced by Doner, Ram’s long-time creative agency, “Epic Launch” will feature a series of four national broadcast commercials and multiple digital shorts released on social media, all starring Crews in a new Ram-themed musical performance.
A Nod to “White Chicks” and a Ramified Football Stadium –
Ram teased the campaign earlier this fall with a hilarious spot titled “Favorite Song,” a direct callback to Crews’ unforgettable scene in “White Chicks,” where he passionately belts out Vanessa Carlton’s 2001 hit “A Thousand Miles.”This time, the actor revives the moment from behind the wheel of a Ram 1500 RHO, parked right in the middle of a football stadium.
When the familiar piano melody begins to play, Crews jokes, “That’s not it… but I do love this song!” before launching into the same head-bobbing, feel-good singalong fans know by heart. It’s a clever way to merge nostalgia with Ram’s playful, hard-working image—and to remind viewers that Ram trucks know how to have fun, too.
The official “Epic Launch” spot takes things up another notch. The ad transforms a massive college football stadium into a “Ramified” gridiron—complete with roaring engines, flying dirt, and fireworks—while Crews leads fans in his over-the-top Ram “fight song.” Dressed in a red, white, and blue Ram mascot outfit, he plants the Ram flag at midfield, belting out lyrics that celebrate the brand’s engines, tailgates, and attitude.
The “Epic Launch” Anthem: Football Meets Horsepower –
The original song, written and performed by Crews himself, combines humor, college fight song energy, and plenty of nods to Ram’s powertrain lineup.
Lyrics:
“It’s time for a Ram fight song!
Tailgates, muscle tanks, Stars and Stripes…
Ram loves college football and mascot fights!
HEMI® engines, HURRICANEs, Cummins, too.
Drew Allar, this NIL deal’s for you!
The baddest trucks you’ll ever see… with thousands of miles of warrantyyyy!”
The spot even features Penn State quarterback Drew Allar, who makes a cameo appearance as part of the brand’s growing connection to college athletics through NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) partnerships. It’s a natural move for Crews, a former Western Michigan University football player, who said being part of the campaign allowed him to blend two of his biggest passions: the gridiron and Ram trucks.
“As a former college football player and current Ram truck super fan, it was awesome for me to support both with an epic fight song,” Crews said. “I had a blast bringing this crazy idea to life.”
Stellantis and Ram Executives on the Campaign –
Olivier Francois, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Stellantis, said the campaign perfectly captures Ram’s connection to college football culture.
“Given the spirited nature of Ram’s long-standing relationship with college football, we wanted to create a Ram anthem to inspire our fans and celebrate their loyalty to the brand,” Francois explained. “As viewers will see in our season-long marketing campaign, Terry Crews literally sings the virtues of Ram’s unrivaled performance and the many ways the truck brand stands out across its competition.”
Tim Kuniskis, Ram’s CEO, echoed that sentiment. “Ram is tackling our college football marketing campaign with the same bold creativity, focus, and relentless drive that defines our truck lineup,” he said. “This approach delivers exactly what our audience and truck customers crave—authenticity and power with an unexpected performance that leaves it all out there on the field.”
Ram’s Winning Momentum on and off the Field –
The campaign also arrives at a perfect time for the Ram brand. Fresh off the return of the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8, Ram is capitalizing on strong consumer enthusiasm and impressive sales momentum. The engine, now available in the 2026 Ram 1500, has exceeded initial production estimates, with early shipments selling out at dealerships in an average of just five days.
Ram’s retail sales jumped 26% in Q3 2025, while light-duty truck sales climbed 10% year-over-year, reinforcing that the brand’s mix of power, technology, and durability continues to resonate with American buyers.
To back that confidence, Ram recently announced a 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty—the best full-size truck warranty in the country—for all 2026 model-year Ram trucks and vans (excluding full battery-electric vehicles). The move underscores Ram’s long-term commitment to quality and owner satisfaction, especially as more consumers take out extended loans for new trucks.
A Celebration of Trucks, Fans, and Fun –
Between the roaring crowd, the V8 soundtrack, and Crews’ booming voice, Ram’s “Epic Launch” campaign captures everything fans love about football Saturdays—and about Ram itself. It’s big, bold, and a little over the top, just like the brand’s trucks.
Whether you’re tailgating outside Beaver Stadium, towing your toys to the lake, or just humming along to Terry Crews’ new anthem, one thing’s for sure—Ram’s bringing the energy this college football season.
