Fox Factory’s DC650 Ram 1500 Has Been Rolling Into Dealers
A 650 Horsepower Street Truck, Done Right...
For years, Ram enthusiasts have been asking for the same thing: a true street-focused performance truck. Not an off-road special, not an appearance package, and not a limited concept that never materializes. They wanted a real, pavement-built Ram with serious power, proper suspension tuning, and OEM-level refinement.
Fox Factory’s Direct Connection–inspired Ram 1500 DC650 finally answers that call—and now these trucks are appearing in dealer inventories.

While the DC650 isn’t a factory Ram production model, it’s also far from a typical aftermarket build. Developed by Fox Factory and heavily influenced by Mopar’s Direct Connection performance philosophy and parts availability, the DC650 is a fully engineered, turn-key street truck designed to deliver big power, improved handling, and everyday usability in one cohesive package.
Every DC650 starts life as a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn Night Edition. From there, Fox Factory transforms the truck with a combination of forced induction, suspension upgrades, and appearance enhancements aimed squarely at street performance.

At the heart of the DC650 is the familiar 5.7-liter HEMI® V8, upgraded with a Gen6 Whipple 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger. Rather than chasing peak dyno numbers, the system is tuned for consistent, repeatable performance and long-term durability. Output is rated at 650 horsepower, delivered through a wide, usable torque curve that makes the truck feel strong and responsive in real-world driving.
The retained eTorque mild-hybrid system helps smooth throttle response and improve launch behavior, giving the DC650 immediate punch off the line without feeling abrupt or unpredictable. The result is a truck that accelerates hard but remains easy to live with on the street.

Power is only half of what makes the DC650 work. Fox Factory-owned Ridetech developed a dedicated coilover suspension setup that lowers the truck approximately 3 inches in the front and 5.5 inches in the rear. The lowered stance dramatically changes the Ram 1500’s on-road character, reducing body roll and improving cornering stability while giving the truck a planted, aggressive look.
Adjustable Fox shocks allow owners to fine-tune ride quality, whether the truck is being used for daily driving or spirited weekend runs. Rear traction bars help manage wheel hop under hard acceleration, ensuring the supercharged HEMI can put its power to the pavement effectively. Despite the aggressive drop, ride comfort remains surprisingly compliant, keeping the DC650 firmly in street-truck territory rather than track-only novelty.

Exhaust duties are handled by a T304 stainless steel Magnaflow cat-back system with 3-inch primary piping that splits into dual 2.5-inch outlets, finished with black stainless tips. The system improves airflow and sound without introducing excessive drone, letting the supercharged HEMI® announce itself without becoming tiresome on longer drives.
Visually, the DC650 leans into its street persona. A front splitter, rear tailgate spoiler, sport hood accents, powder-coated tow hooks, and gold-accent graphics give the truck a distinctive look that still feels OEM-plus rather than overdone. The stance is completed by 22-inch black wheels wrapped in wide 305-series performance tires.

Buyers can choose from 6 factory exterior colors: Bright White, Diamond Black, Hydro Blue, Forged Blue, Granite Crystal, and Silver Zynith.
Inside, Fox Factory keeps the cabin upscale and purposeful. Custom black leather seats feature gold stitching and Direct Connection embroidery, paired with all-weather mats and a serialized interior badge. The interior enhancements add personality without sacrificing the fit, finish, and functionality expected from a modern Ram.

Despite its street focus, the DC650 doesn’t abandon truck capability. Towing capacity is rated at up to 11,320 pounds, with payload just under 2,000 pounds. Four-wheel drive (4×4) is available for buyers who want added traction and year-round usability, proving this build is more than just a showpiece.
Pricing for the Fox Factory DC650 Ram 1500 starts at an MSRP of $89,995 in rear-wheel-drive form. Buyers opting for 4×4 will see an additional $4,045 added to the MSRP, bringing the starting price to $94,040 before dealer-installed options or taxes.

As these DC650 Ram 1500s continue to reach select Fox Factory–supported dealerships, buyers are now seeing real-world examples on showroom floors. The truck shown here is currently available at Steve White Motors in Newton, North Carolina. Finished in Silver Zynith and equipped with 4×4, this DC650 is priced at $93,790 according to the Steve White Motors website.
The DC650 represents something Ram fans have been missing for a long time: a legitimate, modern street truck that puts horsepower and handling first without giving up everyday usability.
