Z-Automotive Nolimitz DT

I didn't make an install video, just followed the instruction. I did find a video on YT that might help you out.

So your saying with the MDS off and the torque demand it offers, it seems like it wants to snap off the line? Like rocket ship stuff? or just some noticeable gains. i thought the idea might be like a pedal commander where it adjust the throttle response as well.
The snap off the line is that half second throttle lag that shocks the crap out of the driveline if you stomp it with no brake torquing or anything. Giving it a little brake torque then launching it will curb the shock and leave tracks down the street even with traction control on. I have not tried a 4WD launch as I really don't want to break my daily. Having had it on for a few weeks now I've definitely noticed some random bucking at low speed from inadvertently stabbing the throttle. It almost makes me want to reset my adaptives. I'd be very curious to know how these respond with a pedal commander or something of the equivalent. I've heard mixed reviews that the PC sharpens response but doesn't fix that initial lag. They have a new feature out for the TRX called "hyper mode" that is supposed to act as a PC but it's only in beta and don't think its out for all vehicles.

I launch my 2020 BTS in 4-high all the time. Multiple runs at the drag strip.

Sorry to resurrect an older thread but thought some people (myself included) would love more info/findings.

I installed my nolimitz this am and immediately disabled MDS (main reason I bought it). That seems to have worked perfectly. What is a bit of a bummer is that my truck doesn’t seem to support the “hyper mode” option which I was very interested in trying as the throttle lag does annoy me slightly. It doesn’t even present as an option.

The other observation is that “is tuned” was set to “yes” out of the gate not sure if that’s due to the GT package on my truck or not but I didn’t change it.

Final observation is that when scrolling through I clicked the “-“ on top speed thinking it would display something. It just went from 1 to 0. And I can’t seem to change it again. Any thoughts here?

My truck is a 2022 Rebel GT with the highest tech package and uconnect 5 12” display. Btw install is easier than I thought honestly only tricky bit at all was pulling on the radio a little harder than I thought would be needed.

The instructions aren’t clear to me exactly either like what does “prevents P1400 DTC with tuned PCM” mean exactly?

Also my torque limit seems to go from 99% to “stock” am I meant to assume “stock” = 100%?

Thanks in advance for any insights
