Is there anything specific about AZ that people from other states couldn't answer?
I purchased from MD and live in FL. They did all the paperwork electronically. They then reached out to multiple vendors for delivery, stated a price that I agreed was fair for shipping/delivery, and the truck was delivered to my door in 2 days. I paid the driver what was agreed to.
Now, being that the truck was purchased out of state and MD had to deal with the Florida registration process, there were delays in getting the plate transfer completed, but that was the only issue with the entire process. And that was a FL DMV issue, not MD.

Hi and thanks! I was wondering about how the taxes and registration were calculated. I’ve done a lot of digging and think I have a handle on it. I was a bit confused about sales tax vs VLT and if you used sales price or MSRP for the calculations. Also was interested in what was actually paid to ship the car. I was quoted $1 mile but it seems that varies based on the company that actually ships it over.

I've purchased several cars and trucks out of state, and buying from Mark Dodge was the easiest transaction. They send the registration paperwork to the local DMV, and the DMV notifies you when they get the paperwork. Mark Dodge was the only one of dealers I bought from (in three different states) that got the amount exactly correct. Great people to work with!
