Here’s a screenshot from Amazon showing price history. They raised the G900 tripro $100 today, Veterans Day.

That bites. Why today of all days? The $329 was a discounted price on Amazon because when I first started looking, it was $434 on the Wolfbox site. Confused me, but not enough to not purchase on Amazon. There are some discounts you can get on their site to get the cost down. I would have gotten a 10% military discount then, but still more expensive than Amazon at the time. I just went to the site, and it's still $434 there. I think 30% pre-Black Friday is available. Not sure if the military discount could still be used.

The timing of the Amazon price increase today is strange considering, but marketing departments have weird ways of thinking. Not certain, but I thought the Amazon seller was Wolfbox. Might be mistaken.

The top one is what I ordered. The bottom has different components. Well, one camera is definitely different.
Ah, the higher price one is the "cabin" version of you want to record the inside of your truck

Amazon raised prices in time for Amazon day this year too. I know because the wife and I were looking at some luggage and decided to wait until Amazon Day to buy it… pulled it up on Amazon day and the price had gone up like $30.

I will just add stuff to my list, or put it in the "saved for later" cart and wait for the notifications for price changes

two explanations:
1. price jump randomly on Amazon for no obvious reasons. Using a price tracking tool is a great way to guesstimate future price trend based on past pricing.
2. they are CCP Chinese company. maybe their people in charge doesn't like our veterans. could be a coincidence though

Maybe they just know the behavior of the American consumers. "Veterans Day Sales" aren't just for mattresses. Take away existing discounts to apply any sales discounts. Dummies think they're getting a bargain when in actuality they paid more. Look how "Black Friday Sales" aren't bargains any longer. People are blind to sales and discount gimmicks.

Luckily we have people here that catch on to the shannigans. Prices will be back to $329 soon.
