Wireless charging pad to fit top dash

Not sure if that would be a good place to charge a phone or to keep any device as it could be in direct sunlight. I wonder if you could get a slim one to fit in the old CD player cubby with your phone on it.
Have you considered using a quick-connect cable? I used these for my headphone, hotspot, my kids tables.
