Wire routing diagrams and pin outs

Are there any wire routing diagrams and pinouts for the connectors out there? Most the stuff I can find is poor resolution line drawings. Id guess they do that to prevent theft of IP. There's no way the OEM is working off diagrams that look like the same diagrams in my 1957 Chevrolet Factory Assembly Manual.
