Well, it’s winter here in Ohio. Dark by 5pm, lots of snow. They don’t focus on my roads for plowing. Which makes commuting fun especially in my truck.
People that lived her for 50,60 years still act like it’s brand new. Fun stuff, boring time of year. So…
Question time!
1. Is there anything you’re hoping Santa will bring you for your truck? Or anything really? (You can be your own Santa fyi!)
2. Any vacation plans next year?
3. if you could pick one mod for your truck, what would it be?
4. Are you excited for the holidays?

Ill go first.
1. I really want the vertex coilover to compliment my lift. Otherwise I’ve been eyeing a couple guitars. Esp, schecter, maybe even higher end jacksom soloist or something.
2. Just booked a brothers trip to Gatlinburg in May.
3. I think I’m going to pull the trigger on the hellwig rear bar.
4. I’m usually the scrooge, grinch, the grouch but this year is different. My grandson turns 2 tomorrow and his little personality is really coming out. It’s such a great feeling when you know you are someone reasom to smile.
On the flip side, this year has been sucky. Most of you all know I lost my best bud Bubba. It’s especially really hard because he would be out in the snow playing with me, building snownen, chasing snowballs. IlHe’s just been on my mind a lot lately.

Great post! Central Ohio here, we have 4 or 5 inches on the ground since yesterday afternoon, so truck, wife and I will be out playing in it shortly. As for your list:

1) I think Santa is skipping the truck this year, as I hear a rumor that some BT underhood goodies for the Challenger are en route from the North Pole
2) Wife and DIL have orchestrated a Cancun trip next Spring that will include all of my Sons, DILs and Grandsons. Been a looong time since the whole group of us were in the same place at the same time, so wife is stoked.
3) The one truck mod i'd like to see happen next year is a set of Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 2s. We'll see if/when Eibach decides to stock them again.
4) Looking forward to some family time through Christmas, and then the free time that follows. Seems like October thru December are always filled with people, and then Jan-Feb are almost void of get togethers, which I also appreciate ;)

On a side note, I feel for ya on your bud, it sucks sometimes when you get the great memories and nothing more. One of my young grandsons was over yesterday and he loves to look at the pics on my phone. At one point we found some of my cat Tika from last Christmas. She made it to my B-day in January before we had to let her go... 21 years old, she was a good friend.....Damn, dude, I'll be pulling for you this Holiday.

I'm also in Central Ohio, west of Columbus in Hilliard. I think we ended up with about 5" of snow. So to throw in my two cents:
1. I wish for a mod to completely disable the traction control, so I can enjoy the snow-covered roads and parking lots like I did when I was a kid. I truly miss that. Shutting off the traction is good, but the baby sitter always kicks back in a little bit.
2. Planning a trip to Ireland in 2026, and my buddy just dropped the idea of a motorcycle trip in Tibet...so in my best Carl Spackler voice I've gotta respond.
3. I've had my truck for 5 years and a bunch of miles so at this point I'm fairly modded out. Still love it too.
4. I love the holidays, get excited about it every year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone.

1- Got sway bar bushings pending to install so probably will do it during xmas break.
Thinking about some seat covers. There is a small tear on my driver seat. I have seen others unsuccesfully match the leather like color grey.
2- heading over to mexico for 2 weeks in february
3- 35" tires and roof rack however i have a garage clearence issue lol.
4 - merry xmas everybody

1. Good on that. Santa sent the wife unit home for the holidays.
2. Going back to Finland next July-august for a vacation.
3. Would be cool to add a 270 degree umbrella to my RTT rack.
4. Exited, absolutely. Going down to Venice FL. tomorrow to escape this winter stuff, beach and margaritas on the horizon.
Merry X-Mas to you all.

(1) I could REALLY use a 4-Post Lift for the Ram (and my aging body!)
(2) Wifey & I are going to Scotland in 2026 for our 20th Anniversary.
(3) Gonna finish up the front suspension with COs this spring and get that dialed in for good.
(4) LOVING Christmas this year in SE Wisconsin since we have tons of snow to go with our chilly winter for once, yeah!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to our Forum Friends & Family here!!

TazerDT and Pulsar XT can both completely disable traction control.

I never have to wait for Santa to buy parts for the truck, or really anything for that matter.

2. Any vacation plans next year?
Nothing planned yet. Will see what the wife wants to do. This may be our first vacation without any kids, so might try something a little more fun.

3. if you could pick one mod for your truck, what would it be?
Twin turbo kit

4. Are you excited for the holidays?
Eh, it is what it is. Kids are all grown and in college, so no Christmas morning excitement anymore. Both our families are fairly close, so not a big deal to go see them.

I love snow and playing in the snow in my truck hopefully we get more this winter, and I can be home to enjoy it. Will be traveling off and on for work.

Sorry about your loss.
The wife and I are planning an anniversary trip to Gatlinburg in May also. Maybe we will run into you.
Merry Christmas to all.
