Thoughts please. My scenario: Bought a new 1500 on 7/23 but did not receive until 7/30 because there was damage to front bumper and passenger side body filler piece between bumper and fender. Was told the damage happened during shipment. They replaced the bumper but only filled in and painted the "plastic" filler piece, even though told it would be replaced, and paint does not match very well. Got them to sign a paper saying it would be replaced with a new piece. Hasn't happened yet!
On 8/7/20 there was morning dew on front window and noticed what appears to be three suction cup marks on windshield. Two on drivers side, one above the other, and one on passenger side. My question is does this look like the windshield has been replaced since vehicle was assembled or could these be from the actual assembly? Have never seen these on a new vehicle. Would like to know if the windshield was in fact replaced.
Also, went to one of the sights Mopar recommends for new vehicle owners and found "Maintenance Records for Ram Trucks Owners" and it lists "Repair Flat". The dealer said they did not know why it was listed on the site. Their explanation was maybe because the dealer fills the tires with nitrogen before vehicle leaves their lot.
I feel they should have told me of all damage this vehicle has incurred and be right up front. Obviously they are trying to skirt issues, not replacing "filler piece" as I was told and evading the "Repair Flat".
Thanks for your insight and responses.
