Ram should have never had the word extra anywhere on the build sheets. All trucks are shipped with that 5 gallons of fuel.Might be only on the larger tanks? My 23 gallon tank dose not have the gallon imbossed on it and the build sheet dose not show extra gas added.

So the best way to get cheap gas it to buy a new truck then! They charged me $14 for the 5 additional gallons last year.
Surprised since that comes to $2.80/gal and at that time gas was close to $5/gal.

Of course notDo you think they fill up at a station lol?
They buy millions of gallons. They don't pay retail. I was thinking of putting a tank for my rec fuel for my toys. I could save over $1 a gallon, buying 500 gallons. They charged me $14 for the 5 additional gallons last year.

Where? Truckers would be lined up half way around your state if that were the case. They do buy the millions of gallons. They buy millions of gallons. They don't pay retail. I was thinking of putting a tank for my rec fuel for my toys. I could save over $1 a gallon, buying 500 gallons.
Truckers get discounts on fuel depending on where they fill up, if their company has a contract with a certain brand, and/or if they pay cash.Where? Truckers would be lined up half way around your state if that were the case. They do buy the millions of gallons.
I have a home tank and the best I see in the area is that the delivery is free.
Not a buck a gallon for 2 tanks. Granted, he said gas, but gas is even cheaper for a larger percentage.Truckers get discounts on fuel depending on where they fill up, if their company has a contract with a certain brand, and/or if they pay cash.
The dealership filled my truck up before delivery. I asked them about it and the salesman said it was him. He said he had a personal problem delivering an expensive vehicle and then not filling it up. Thought it was the least he could do. While probably a line of bull, it was a nice gesture from whoever was responsible and was much appreciated. So the best way to get cheap gas it to buy a new truck then!
A little extra value if you got the 33-gal tank...Criswell filled mine. Granted, Joeflation had not devistated gas costs yet.
I just called the local fuel distributor. They gave me the price for 500 or 1,000 gallons. I'm talking ethanol free rec fuel which is about a dollar a gallon more than 87 octane anyway. With the hassles of inspection fees, and insurance costs, I decided not to do it anyway. I only use about 500 gallons a year in the toys.Where? Not all. Most do, but I've gotten vehicles that weren't filled.Don't most dealerships fill the fuel tanks before delivery?
