Wind turbine system?

I was thinking along those lines as well! I was trying to envision my 1500 with like a windmill in the bed. Count me in!
 
This makes no sense.
The turbine will only turn if the truck is moving. The truck moves when it uses fuel. Trying to generate while cruising on flats will increase the load on the engine and use more fuel. Where's the gain? It might function as regenerative braking when decelerating or coasting downhill, but the eTorque could be configured to do that.
 
I'm sure Stellantis engineers are smarter than me, but I can't help thinking about that pesky first law of thermodynamics, also known as the law of conservation of energy.
