Winch Tray

I just wanted tolet everyone know that the Westin winch tray for 5th Ram 1500 WILL fit on the REBEL. I contacted them about the powder coating being all chipped up. Told em I had one on my 2020 big horn that was totalled and bought this one to go on the replacment truck which is a 2020 Rebel.... They called me more concerned about me trying to put it on the Rebel... Said it wouldnt fit. I said why not the frame is the same and tow hooks come out in same place. He said front end is different. I already had it on the truck for mock up. Lmao.They never did anything about the ****ty powder coat. I added the reciever hitch on mine so I can put a hitch carrier in front. Hope this helps ya'll.

Thats pretty cool. Does it cause any problems with the front parking sensors?

Yes it does. I just turned them off. I havent been able to get the cover off of the sensors. My big horn didnt have a cover over them and I bought a sensore relocation kit and moved them to the bottom of the tray with brackets from kit.

They have probably never tried to test fit it on a Rebel. And the guys working customer service just have to go off of what their computer tells them.

This helps! that pesky 'not compatible with rebel' seems to be a common note when manufacturers don't have a test mule

Its a Harbor Freight hitch. Rated at 350 tounge and 3500 trailer. Now that is for a step bumper. I just put it on there to be able to carry a hitch carrier. Possibly to put a hook to try an pull someone out of a ditch. Lol. It is the smaller one they sell. The one that is rated for more weight gets in the way of winch bolts
