I just picked up my first Ram 1500 limited. Coming from a Gladiator. I’m looking at adding some Milwaukee storage boxes to the bed for tools and what not but I would rather not drill holes in the bed itself if I can help it. Has anyone doing something similar?

well you could use a sheet of 1/8 steel and mount it to your bed rail, then mount the packout base to the sheet.
the other option is to made a wooden platform with tall sides and bolt it down to the tie down rings using turn buckles.
third is use a Decked Drawer and mount the packout base to the top of drawer.

however, first option is not suitable for big or heavy items. second option will reduce your usable bed space. third option is expensive.

so... drilling your bed is probably the best option you'll get. then when you're done or when it's time to trade in your truck, just plug the holes and bed liner it and the next guy won't know.
