Will the V6 run all the time?

Saw something that highlighted Ram video stating the V6 will run all the time to charge the battery.. Doesn't that defeat the purpose. Hopefully can be of until his the recharge threshold.

There are different modes. It will run full EV if you want it to.

It's a hybrid with a full EV mode. The v6 is a generator, in theory it charges faster then it is driven per the specs so far so. Should be able to do full EV until it's at like 20% then let it charge I suspect.

Anyone that gets "stranded" because their EV runs out of battery deserves it for being stupid and not planning better. It's not hard to figure out range.

Same thing as getting stranded with no fuel. Harder to find places to "fill up" but they knew it when they bought it.

Being in Louisiana, we don't have the infrastructure to support EV charging everywhere like most other states. We got the first Tesla charger last year behind the Jack in the Box LOL!!! So yeah, getting stranded down here with no place to charge is a thing unless you are taking short trips or eating at the Jack in the box.

Once again, if you get stranded, it's your own damn fault. Much like running out of gas.

I kinda disagree. You can refuel with gasoline in 13 minutes. Can't charge that fast so sometimes you may need to leave before a full charge is achieved.
And you can always steal gasoline.

other states do not any better ev charging. at least not the states I have been in which is a lot.

I don't think it's ever taken me more then 5 mintues to refuel from dead empty.
