Why does the rear of my truck hop whenever I burn out or get sideways​


Note: i have 2019 ram rebel 5.7 3.92axel

Shocks might help some. At least they do with axle hop over bumps at speed, etc.
Not sure how that applies to burnouts and general hooning about, but that use case simply won’t be a stock pickup truck’s forte.

I've never had an issue doing a burnout or getting wheel hop on my truck. But I am a drag racer, and know how to do a burn out

Both of my 4th gens hopped something fierce. Rain was real bad.
Haven’t had that happen yet with my current 5th gen. Only difference is Off Road Package and electronic rear differential. Guessing it’s a combination of the two reducing it.
