Sorry for the clickbait title but I want to get a definite answer on this.

TLR - are there 2019 Ram 1500 5th gen/new body style trucks that are DS?

I had my 2019 5th gen Ram in at the dealership for an alignment. The report the gave me showed they used alignment specs for a 2019 Ram DS with air ride normal ride height. I called the dealership and they told me that is the right truck and that there are DS coded 2019 5th gen rams (NOT classic) and the vehicle specs used are correct. Everything I can find says DS = Classic and DT = 2019 5th gen and the aligment specs I can find for 2019 classic and new body are not the same. Am I crazy or are they?

They are wrong. There is no such thing as a 5th Gen 1500 DS.

No, that is not the case.

Probably a technical info error on the machine for the 2019 DT trucks that they didn't bother fixing.
