Hey everybody, I'm thinking about going with Eibach's PRO-TRUCK-LIFT Stage 2 with a 3" or so lift in the front. I am looking for recommendations for upper control arms. I want to go with ball joint not uniball. I'm seeing a lot of people with UCA issues like squeaking, clunking, bushing failures, etc. I would like to do it right the first time. I am new to this and would like recommendations from those who have some decent run time/mileage. Thanks!

Thuren is the best, imo.

How will you use your truck? Pavement, fire roads, off roading, etc.? Doing a lift for looks or added capabilities? Also, budget is a factor. Don't use cheap crap if you do more than Pavement. Also, use a company that you can talk to if you need support. I've had great luck with BDS and Core 4x4 but there many choices out there.

You should also look at changing the front end links to SuspensionMaxx, change front sway bar bushing to Energy Suspension and rear end links Core 4x4 for the 1" lift. You truck will love you for it.......

The truck is a daily driver, maybe some light camper towing, no serious off roading. I will pay more for something that will last and be trouble-free. There are many choices, that's why I'm asking people with experience. I'll check out BDS, Thx!

I'll be using BDS this time around, but they came with the kit along with the FOX 2.5 adjustable front/rear

The only way to remedy this is to not go cheap. You're spending a good amount of money on an industry leading name in Eibach. Don't cheap out with crap UCA's. Spend the money. Know you have the best and sleep at night knowing your rig isn't going to break down.
