I got a good deal on rims for my Limited.
One will be used for 3 seasons and one for winters.
One is a 5 spoke and one is a 6 spoke.
Which would you chose as the main wheel? Pic 1 or Pic 2?

Yokohama Geolander GO15’s will go on the winter rims.

The decision shouldn’t be based on looks

Smaller rim for winter - lets you put a bigger sidewall tire on.

And if you’re going to have a winter set, I’d get a real winter tire, not an a/t

Where is PorBoy's, W13NY?
PorBoy (3,4 or more wheel sets?) and W13NY (4 wheel sets?) are experienced at "transitional" rims for those unfamiliar with their posts and sale items.
Seems like "How Many Wheels" would make for good reading for a new post.
My own experience: BigHorn, Premium Laramie and Limited wheels as above, one more set and I have all seasons covered.
I say go with how you feel at the time unless of course the wife feels different.

Maybe instead of going seasonal go with "oil change" this way the tires can be rotated and at the same time. While the wheels are off give them a good cleaning and a coat of wax to minimize winter weather effects.

Well, my wife agreed with my leaning toward 5 spoke.
As to the A/T tires I picked, the are M+S with the 3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake. I live where there’s snow in the winter. Not just icy roads.
Living here commands a tire both good in deep snow and ice.
The Yokohama Geolander GO15 rates high in both categories.

I do appreciate everyone’s comments. Interesting.

Put the (2) 5 spokes on the left side and the (2) six spokes on the right side, then no decision needed! :D
Ps: I purchased my truck with the 20x9 5-spokes.

I'd go with the 6 spoke for 3 seasons, maybe even match the painted (dark) areas to match the truck color.

@Jako

Because one set is on longer than the other, it’ll have a few tire rotations before the winters are due to change up. All Usually done at oil changes.

This is what’s going on the 6 Spoke next week and then stored till November.

Sumitomo Encounter A/T. 275/55R20
Pretty good winter snow and ice ratings. Good price too!
