Evaluating the options for hood deflectors for my 2020 1500 Laramie with the Sport package. The paint color is metallic black; definitely looking for a dark colored deflector. Anyone have experience with an AVS, Mopar, or WeatherTech (or other) deflectors they would share with me? Both looks & protection to the hood are important to me. Also would like to know how they mount, general quality of fit, etc. Thanks.....

I have the AVS one in dark smoke. I like it. Gets finger prints on it easily. The AVS logo flew off after about a month but I'm okay with that as it's less white on my truck.
Edit: Mounts easily - installation took about 10 minutes. It did come in a little warped and used a heat gun to reheat it into shape. I live in south Texas as a reference and at the time it was over 100 degrees when it shipped.

I haven't used the smoke one but I had this model Stampede deflector on my '15 Laramie and it still looked brand new when I sold the truck this month. Sturdy product.

I bought the Mopar then decided I didnt want the clips on my hood, even with the protective film. Ordered the Weathertech. Installed in 15 minutes, sturdy and looks great. Black Mopar for sale $40 local pickup.

I went with the WeatherTech one and I really like it and the easy install and that it sits off the hood.

Here’s the Mopar. I went with it because it matched the satin black color scheme I was going for. I don’t recommend it. Doesn’t cover the entire width. Install was nauseating from opening the box to finish. It’s held on by 4 screws that secure into factory holes under the weatherstripping (good) and 4 clips that you violently jam onto your hood (bad). I really only like the color and it’s more defined angles. Otherwise I’d probably go weathertech.
