So I'm on my 5th Ram and this is the first 5th gen I've started working on. I've done TONS of car audio installs and I swear I've scoured the forums and google but can't find a solid answer.

Base 6 speaker system in a 2020 Bighorn Crew. I have new speakers arriving tomorrow (Infinity Reference REF697CF) along with an amp. I already installed the ANC bypass harness and am going to cut that in half and feed the amp with the high level inputs there and then jump right back on it from the amp outputs. Great.

My problem is, I want to keep stock speaker locations but I can't figure out how to integrate the crossover 'box' for the door/dash combo to keep the full range that is shared for the front channels from blowing the tweeters and sending highs to the mid. I found the wire diagram but I don't understand how those two are connected from the factory. Is there a spot where it basically T's or is it in series? Is there a spot on the factory wiring where that crossover box can be integrated without running new wire to the dash?

I know the shortcut is just throw the new tweeter on the top corner of the door but I really don't want to add a speaker there when there's a huge speaker grille already on the dash.

Hope it makes sense.

Did you figure this out? I have the same speakers and am wondering the same.

i've been doing car audio for over 30 years and have done more installs on the side than i can count and about 15 of my own. so i'll jump in i have done like three 5th gens. 2 with the base 6 speaker's and 1 with the alpine two were mine.
this is my truck during the process. kind of over kill but you only live once..........

i'm ashamed of my not straight cut but it is what it is you will never see it, still i was not happy and it was a long day but the customer left happy.

i also did the jbl's. i put the passive crossover at the amp behind the back seat and ran speaker wires up to the dash from the crossover because they are tied into front the door's from the factory as far as i could tell i also made a 3.5 adaptor from abs plastic you can just buy them and cut them out for your tweeter. i put the tweets in the dash i do not like tweeters mounted on a pillars. front and back doors i grabbed the speaker wire under the seat at the anc bypass like you.
i ended up removing the jbl's because that 3/4 in tweeter didn't cut it for me but you may love it. i installed Kenwood KFC-XP6903C and i like them better.
the jbl mids are sweet i suggest you cross them over at 110htz and i recommend a coax in the dash crossed at 850htz, that's how the kenwoods came but i was already running that way so i didn't use their crossover i went full active. i posted pics a few time of my setup. i did a rockford DSR-1 but it's really not necessary, i do like being able to adjust everything from my app eq, crossover slopes and points, time alignment and independent speaker level's. again nice but not a must have.
speed wire makes it way easier to get from under the seat to behind the back seat.
allow me to make a few suggestions.....
