I’ve been checking daily on nationwide searches and haven’t seen any 2026 Rebels with the hemi. Are they custom order only? I see the option on the ram build tool, but am surprised none have shown up for sale. Or they’re gone before I see them.

i kept asking around too. nobody knows when they will officially start production.

Just a question because I really don't know the specifics. Are the '26 Hemi's limited to trim levels, and if so, is the Rebel one of them?

I figure by the time they start rolling out they’ll be limited in number so discounts won’t be as easily negotiated. I think I saw a video with kuniskis saying they only had 30k hemis for this year. The next model year capacity will be closer to 100k. So we might be waiting a bit.

Per the media announcement I saw from RAM the hemi will available on all trims except the RHO, Tungsten, and maybe limited?

If you go to the ramtrucks.com build tool the hemi engine is an available engine option on the rebel. I think there’s a thread on this site from mark dodge saying you can order it now through them.

who knows.. ram is pretty generous when it comes to rebates/incentives

Back for the 2025 model year I put together some interesting data. It showed that they phase the various trims into production. I can't remember the timing, maybe every 45 days they were phasing in something new?

The good news is that there aren't a huge number of changes for 2026, so I wouldn't be surprised if you start seeing what you're looking for in the first half of the year, maybe even Q1.

yeah i'm thinking they'll starting making there way to dealer lots 1st quarter of 2026 since 2027 models start being produced in august of this year.

Not such a bad thing really. More time to generate money down, and most importantly, more time for ram to iron out software stuff.

They've already built over 36,000 Hemi-based Ram 1500 DT's this year. And that's just from SHAP, not counting the ones coming from Saltillo, Mexico.

The 10 Hemi Rebels are pilot vehicles. They haven't built any production ones yet.

CEO tim kuniskis said he is expecting to pump out 100K vehicles with hemi engines for quarter 1 of this year. who knows how true that is...

No way. They’ve only been turning out about 20,000 trucks a month so far this model year. And January has not started with high numbers. I’d bet they don’t do more that 55,000 trucks TOTAL in the first quarter. Hemi’s - 20,000 tops (they’re only averaging about 6,000 a month). Probably more like 15,000. But then again, I’m talking only about trucks from SHAP.

I believe I know where kuniskis said this and it was more like 100k hemis in the 2026 calendar year. Not the quarter. I’d be shocked by that volume as well.
