When will the 2500 get the 1500 Cab?

Simple as the title says, I am curious is anyone has any info on if/when the 2500 will get the full treatment and get the cab that is on the 1500. I am ready to upgrade to a HD truck but my wife and kids love the backseat we have now, and I love the flat loading surface and easy flip up bench seat. The standard Crew Cab of the current HD is noticeably smaller and has the bump. The Megacab helps some with the reclining but is overly complicated to use for interior hauling.

Just saw a YouTube video from TFLTRUCK. They were testing out a 2020 3500. Now it’s getting all the bells and whistle but one statement they made was that it doesn’t have the new cab yet. I have nothing further at this time.

I get duty truck eye candy every day from all the big three. Have a new 4500 in the shop now getting a flat bed installed. Of course the interior is bland in comparison. Also have a Chevy 5500 setting two bays over, that thing is a hoss.

2500 also doesn't have the telescoping steering wheel, which is one of my favorite comfort features compared to the 4th gen cabs.
