Looking to add the Bilstein lift to add 2"inches to my 2022 Ram Rebel without air suspension with Ready Lift UCAs.

The shop is telling me they have seen issues with aftermarket 18" inch wheels due to balancing.

Also, they are telling me it is safest to go with smaller tires to minimize any rubbing issues.

My ideal setup on wheels/tires would be 18x9 wheels (0 offset) with 305/70R18 tires. I do NOT want to have any trimming, etc... Should I go with 295/70R18 to be safe? If so, do I even need to "lift".

What are y’all’s opinions?

295/70/18 generally fit on a stock truck. One guy here just put 295/70 on his stock rebel with Cooper STT pro and it works according to him.

I covered 35s. Just convert your tire size to inches and the rest will apply.

Why do you not want any trimming done? All the trimming I've covered are fixable with a simple fender liner swap when/ if you are returning the lease or going to sell the truck. Pinch weld will be covered by liner anyways.

Appreciate the response. I am just uncomfortable with any trimming on metal. I would like to go with 305/70R18s on this 0 offset wheel. The 0 offset should help correct?

yes but 0 offset may be problematic for UCA with 12" width, be sure to ask your UCA manufacturer.
trimming metal is not really needed unless you wheel hard. You should only need to trim plastic at most. I trimmed the pinch weld (metal) because I wheel hard and take the truck through trails it shouldn't really go.
trimming pinch weld is not that hard. take a grinding disk and just grind it off, then spray black paint to protect the raw metal and hide it. you can't screw it up lol
