Wheel Offset / Stock Setup

Hey folks. Forgive my newness at all this.

Looking at a set of wheels for my 2019 Ram Rebel. Found a great set but they have a +18mm offset (18x9, 6x139.7, 5.71, 18mm -> They didn't offer a 0 offset)

Will the +18 fit in a stock setup without requiring a leveling kit? Does it tuck under the fenders quite a bit or not really noticeable? I plan to keep the factory tires.

It all depends on what the stock offset for rebel wheels are, hopefully someone chimes in with those specs. IIRC the stock 20’s from the limited are +19mm so if that’s the case for the rebel you should be fine all things being equal. General rule of thumb is if you’re going wider on wheels/tires from stock you should consider a lower offset (pushing the wheels further out) to avoid rubbing on internal suspension components (whilst also taking into consideration outer fender rubbing under max suspension articulation) unless you’re leveling or lifting which could certainly change things. Hope this helps.

Right! I am sticking with stock tires and just looking for a wheel swap.

To your point... I have been searching for stock wheel offset on 2019 Rebel (18x9) and not having much luck.
 
I put 20x9 with a +20 offset on my rebel With slightly wider then stock tires and it sits flush with the flare. Factory wheel size for rebel is 18x8 With +19.1 offset

That is very nice! Great aggressive look.

So my +18 Offset with a 5.71 backspace should work then from what I gather right? I just want to make sure it sits right where stock sits (tire-wise).

yeah should fit fine, your wheels will stick out 1” wider then your stock wheels setup.

The offset is where the hub on the wheel is located within the wheel. For example, a 0 offset means the hub is directly in the center of the wheel. A negative offset means the hub is towards the back of the wheel. For example, a -19mm (-3/4") offset means the hub will be 19mm towards the back side of the wheel giving you a deeper dish and therefore pushing the wheel out further. A positive offset is just the opposite. A +19mm offset will push the hub 19mm closer to the outside of the wheel causing the wheel to sit back further in the wheel well. Here's an illustration that may help.

No it will not sit outside the wheel well, it will be pretty well the same as what I have pictured. Will be just inside the fender flare. Your stock wheels are 18x8 and the wheels your looking at are 18x9 so they are 1” wider so they will stick out 1” more then your stock wheels. You should get no rubbing using your stock tires.

So the TRX wheels are 18x9 with a +19mm offset. Does anyone know how much further out the tires will sit on those rims?

not sure how far the tires stick pass the wheels themsleves but i know doing the trx swap u need a lift/level atleast and wheel spacers to avoid UCA contact
 
Well that's only if I use the 35s. I am sticking with 295/70 [34s I think] and right now with stock Rebel wheels there's no rubbing at all anywhere. I will never level a truck [no such thing in reality] and lifts are very expensive so I will stick with the stock height. What I meant was with the extra 1" width of the TRX wheel how much farther will the wheels and tires sit out ?
