Whats a fair deal nowadays with the shortages? Input needed ASAP!

OP here. Hey guys, what do you say about the $3-4K dealer discount (not including FCA rebates)? Thats my bigger question, and no I cant fly all over the country chasing deals.

Would you hold out till December? Is it realistic to ask to see the invoice then take off 3-4%?

Please respond to the above questions.

$3-4K off what MSRP ?

$3-4K off what MSRP ?
Yes, off MSRP not counting national or regional incentives, and thanks for the garage door idea, I will have to find out what the builder is installing, it may be awhile as the slab has just been poured and we are currently waiting for trees from Siberia since it seems there aren’t any in the US to get as framing…

And here’s my garage door lip, every section has it!

Doesn’t floor rate mean lowest rate they’ll offer?
yes you are right! the bottom paragraph is there normal rate loans. the addition -2% is a special loan they have for a limited time due to the current loan rates being so low. i did call to make sure it would drop below the floor rate. you do have to have credit score 700 and above, checking and savings with them and auto withdraw from your pay check.

In the past I have had 2 motorcycle loans one personal loan. I have always been happy with their service. This will be my 1st auto loan with them. i just hope i can get squared away with my build first before all this good incentives end

Auto Loans

WE MAKE SUMMER DREAMS COME TRUE!

Are you dreaming of hitting the open road this summer? Refinance your auto loan, lower your rate by 2.00%APR*, and get a $25 gas card!

Maybe you're looking for some adventure on a motorcycle? We have motorcycle loans as low as 2.49%APR*!
*APR = Annual Percentage Rate. All loans subject to underwriting guidelines. Other rates and terms available. Auto Loan Refinance: Floor Rate is 1.99% APR. Certain fees apply. Loan refinanced must be from another financial institution. Members will receive one (1) $25.00 gift card to Sheetz upon closing of the loan. Offer valid 5/01/2021 to 7/31/2021. Offer subject to change without notice. Motorcycle Loan: rate includes up to 1.00% APR discount for relationship pricing
It says Floor Rate is 1.99%. I think that means that is the lowest rate you can get with them. So if your other loan was 3.49%, you will get 1.99% not 1.49%.

Since the house is still under construction, have you considered asking what it would take to expand the garage by, say, a foot?

I bought from kville in 18. Back then they set the price and wouldn’t budge. They claim to search within 500 miles and set their price below anyone else.
I needed a truck by the end of the day or I would have walked.

well if you are going a foot, go bigger! wood measurement come in nonmail sizes 2 by 4 by 8 or 12 etc. go 2 4 d 6 so u can walk around your truck, you don't want to just squeeze by, you don't want to brush up against it get get yourself dirty or scratch your beautiful truck

Well problem solved. Truck is being sold this Monday 5/17 to Autonation, and we are out of the replacement truck market till at least December.

Waiting for the next sale like June 2019 but I won’t hold my breath, ha ha. Thanks to all who replied, and yes, builders are stupid. In the area we bought, the major names wouldn’t make a garage that would fit a crewcab truck with the short bed. Guess nobody owns one…:unsure:

Good luck with your next truck. You're right, going to be a while before deals return. Probably at least two years, and by then inflation will have MSRPs at least 10% higher than now. No way I would buy a house that couldn't fit my truck, nomatter how much the wife liked it! :)

Yeah well after 36 years I pick my battles, and that one wasn't "picked"... Remember, it was her truck. Peeps here don't seem to get that. She asked for it, she picked the colors, she was the principal driver. Had she wanted some other vehicle for $60G's, that's what would be in the garage.
