I have used some of the sites that let you look up bulb type and locations but none that I go to do 2019 yet.

Can anyone either point me to where I can look this up for myself or tell me what bulbs (if any) are regular bulbs and can be upgraded in my truck that came with led headlights and I assume led tails etc?

thank you in advance.

Reviving this thread as I'm trying to figure out as well which bulbs are not LED without opening everything up on my Laramie. It looks like this is the list we'd need to upgrade:
- Vanity
- Cargo
- Lower glove box
- 3rd brake (based on @pounds message)

Map, passenger reading, front/back footwell, upper glove box, and license look like LED to me. Haven't opened them up but based on the overall light/diffuser size, I don't think they would be halogen, someone correct me if wrong though.

As for backup, brake, tail, low beam, high beam, front turn, fog, sidemarker, etc, are all of those LED?

Didn’t see a notification of your reply @dailyherold

But I went through and pulled my tail lights and there appears to be nothing replaceable on those even though most say the reverse lights are replaceable. mine is an integrated unit and nothing is a standard bulb.

in my truck the 2 cargo light bulbs and third brake light bulb (only one bulb) are replaceable. My truck use 921 size bulbs. I replaced the 2 cargo bulbs with led but need to order another 921 for the single third brake light.
I haven’t opened anything up inside the truck so I can’t help you there.

I don't know what you trim level so i can't really tell but for mine beside the cargo and 3rd brake light, the bottom glovebox and sunvisor are incandescent light bulb, they're all easy to change.

My truck is a Laramie Sport. Thanks for the info.

Footwell lights were regular 194 bulbs on my sport. Switched out to led

Ended up changing from the 24 lumen to 16 lumen vanity, as I found the 24 too bright. Even with the 16 I turned each cylinder to the outside, nearly 90 degrees.

Also, since all bulbs I got were 6000K ("cool white"), I ordered a 194 bulb for lower glove box the same temp. However upon install I realized the internal LED lighting on the Laramie is warmer. It was especially noticeable when I had upper and lower glove box open and could see both light temperatures (plus footwell), and the 6000K annoyingly stood out. So I ordered both the 5000K ("pure white") and 4000K ("natural white") to compare. Installed both tonight and 6000K-->5000K wasn't too noticeable and still cooler than the other interior lighting. The 4000K turned out to be the closest match and I'm quite happy with the result. Would recommend the same to anyone else (unless you had a non-Laramie and have replaced all other lighting to your preferred color/temp).

As far as cargo lights, I got the 210 lumen option to save money and am happy with result. It looks "OEM+" brightness and the color temp fits with rest of exterior lighting. The $90 410 lumen option, nearly twice as bright, might look out of place.

(All bulbs ordered from Diode Dynamics)

Here are some pics as well. Hard to capture with camera, exposure all over the place especially with those vanity lights on haha. In person things look a lot more even (minus vanity).

The vanity aren't as warm comparatively but they are only on when needed, and typically mirror lighting will be more that end of spectrum rather than warm.

One of the cargo lights burned out on mine and I replaced them with these. They also list all of the other bulbs for the truck.

Changed the third brake light with this one too.

Does replacing these to LED affect cruise control? I know back in the day, you had to get resistors (due to the lower draw) to keep cruise control. I have the radar cruise control if it matters.

They did not affect my cruise control, everything working fine.

what light bulbs size do i need for vaninty mirrors and glove box?

Vanity light using 29mm led festoon bulb and lower glovebox using 194 bulb.
Holy SH****T just installed these and the vanity lights are blindingly bright! LOL wth. not very practical for someone genuinely wanting to use the vanity mirror at night but I think i'm going to keep it the way it is for a passenger annoying me, "hey you got something on your face (blinded)"

I'm using the LED bulb below and wife didn't complaint or anything.

Yup I got the same ones. They are like looking into two spot lights!
