What is this? Is it a sacrificial anode like on a boat? So it deteriorates instead of truck rusting? AA684DBE-37B7-4804-8C7B-46373C0398A9.jpeg

Looks like a Post Covid active tuned mass module. All mass, no module, most likely due to the chip shortage?

But it's bolted right to the frame. So weird that it "works"? Lol... Sacrificial anode would be way cooler so we don't have to worry about rust later in the trucks life
Helps with road noise.

As someone said this is the replacement for the Active-Tuned Mass Module due to supply shortage. Not very active anymore. :D

I've got the non e-Torque and I have the damper, not the active module.
Yeah that’s weird as the applications are for hybrid but not non-hybrid

Chalk up to supply chain issues I guess
