I have a 2022 Big Horn with the factory 20" chrome wheels. I want to get a 33" (or 35" if it will fit the truck without lifting) off road tires and wheels. Kind of like what comes on the Raptor / TRX.

But what size rims do I need? 17"? 18"? I do want a high side wall because that's where that off road look comes from, and I want to be able to air down the tire too if I ever go fishing in the beaches.

And what other dimensions do I need to worry about such as offset or width? I've googled this a lot but can't find the answer.

Thanks for your help !!

And oh I don't want to have to calibrate the speedo either.
What combo of rim/tire do you think I should get?

can't get a 35" on without a 2-2.5" leveling kit. not sure that you could get away with a 33" without a level either, without some rubbing. -18 offset (4.5" of backspacing if you're looking at an aftermarket wheel should be good. personally, i'm a big fan of method wheels. i ran their beadlocks on my jeep and beat on them. never wept air (not suggesting you get beadlocks--just attesting to their quality).

You can’t fit 17” wheels over the brakes, but most 18” wheels will fit. Stick with 8.5-9.5 width & close to a 0 offset or -12 offset at the most. This will push your tires out further than the stock ones and give you a pretty flush look from tire to fender or stick out a little bit but nothing crazy.
Some good recommendations would be:
Method Wheels in 18x9 size
Black Rhino in 18x9.5
Raceline 18x9
KMC 18x8.5 or 18x9.
You’ll need 6x5.5 bolt pattern (otherwise written as 6x139.7).

Without leveling the truck you’re probably going to want to stick to sizes around 33 or 34 inches tall. Sizes I’d recommend looking into are:
•285/70r18
•295/65r18
•33x12.50r18
•295/70r18
•305/65r18
Out of those just look at those sizes from each brand (it’s easy on tiresize.com), pick which ones you like the look of, how much they cost, and then out of the ones you like try to find the one that weighs the least.
Also go on customoffsets.com to view similar rams with the wheel and tire setups I mentioned above.
Good luck

This is where the tire sits for a 18x9 rim with -6 offset. 35x12.5 tires.

I have a 4 inch lift. You could fit 35s with no lift and no rubbing but it takes a special tool. They are not too expensive.
