What mud flaps

Accessory guys used Huskys instead of the Weathertechs that I requested. Was difficult to see in the dark tonight when I picked up the truck. I'm not happy with the fit with the lighting in the driveway. I'll be calling them back in the morning. There's a 1/4 inch gap all the way around the flares.

Following! Installed and have the same 1/4” gap. I had Huskys on my previous Ram and they fit very well. I prefer the Huskys over the Weathertechs due to the more rounded corners, but not with the gap. 60DD88D0-951D-416B-91D8-DD57409C28E0.jpeg

Check out these Mopar genuine accessory mudflaps in my Rebel pics. Double walled to look contoured. I had to cut inside of fronts to clear tires as I put 18x9 +1 offset wheels (Fuel Hardline) with the stock 33" Duratrac Goodyears. (offset wheels caused issue as factory would clear) Ordered from Amazon and you select if you have factory flares or not. I am real happy with fit and finish. Very secure hardware and 2-sided tape to keep tight to flare surface. Also have factory Rebel wheels for sale for $500 without pressure switches if interested

@Goatmann - That's how the Huskys installed on my truck look. They just aren't right...at all.

if the huskys had a sloted fastener hole so you could adjust the gap they would work, but they don't.

Guess what. Weathertech's have the slot engineered into their product. Excellent fit on my truck, period! Now, if WT would include the 3M paint protective tape...

Totally agree on all points. (y)

Weathertechs are ordered today and should be in tomorrow.

I guess mine work well for me because of black paint already on lower part of truck and black mudflaps fit over top of black flares. It would look different on other color trucks for sure.

What a difference. The Weathertechs look like they're made for the truck. The Huskys look like they were made for something entirely different. I have to retract my earlier statement that a slotted installation would work for these. The profile is still wrong.

(Sorry, didn't have time to snap a pic of the Weathertechs. I had to hurry back to work.)

Came home to find my Weathertechs on the doorstep and just finished putting them on with the addition of some XPEL pro door edge guard tape on the contact areas with the factory paint. Look and fit is on the money!

Mine fit perfectly...no idea what the heck this set of Husky's is made for. Looks like a mistake for sure.

I just did gatorbacks with all rubber versions. Biggest point about them.... do the leveling on even ground lol. I forgot and had to readjust each flap with my level lol.

When you have a minute can you take a picture of them so I can have a look? Trying to decide between a few.

These are the all rubber version. I didn’t want a metal plate.

FYI the Gators are on sale today and tomorrow only at SharpTruck.com !

Got the Gatorbacks installed yesterday, and will post pictures within the hour. Pleased with the look and coverage.

Just curious- it looks like plastic rivets are used. Do you need a plastic rivet gun to install these flaps?
