What is this plastic piece in my new truck?

This small plastic piece was in the console when my truck was delivered from Mark Dodge. It is sitting on top of the owners manual books for size reference.
what is it?
Do I keep it?

Looks like a cover for the rain sensor that is on the windshield. It is used for shipping of the part to keep the front safe from damage.

I guess I don't need to keep it.
Is it an outside or inside part? I don't see anything on the windshield.

It’s behind the plastic cover that hides all the sensors against the glass in the windshield above the mirror

That makes sense. I actually had that cover off yesterday hard wiring my radar detector. Did not know to look for that sensor.
