What is everyone’s recommended set up for 35”x12.5

I have a 2019 Laramie 1500 totally stock. I want to go with bigger tires but I’m not sure what way to go. I was thinking either 35x12.5 or 35x10 ridge grapplers. Some new wheels but I don’t understand the offset thing. Would be ok if they stick out an inch or two but nothing too aggressive. And don’t know if I should do a leveling kit (2,2.5 or what kind) or a full lift? Please help!!! Any thoughts appreciated.

This is mine with 295/65R20 (35.2x11.8) Ridge Grapplers on stock wheels with Motofab 3/2 level.
Stock offset is +19mm, you’ll need that or “less” to not hit the UCAs with 295s. The less offset the closer you’ll get to the wheel wells when turning. There is trimming info in the sticky in the wheel/tire subforum.

How it sits in stock form, you won’t be able to add that size without at least leveling. You might have to do some very minor trimming as well but nothing a Dremel or Grinder can’t handle.

From my experience, you will need a 4" lift to fit 35x12.5r20 nittos. that's the setup I currently have and on hard left turns there is a slight rub still. I did not trim anything but probably will so i can get rid of that occasional rub.
If you go with 20x9 you should be just fine with the stance you are after. right now with factory wheels your +18 offset. most 20x9 wheels will be right around +1, -1 maybe -12 meaning you will stick out approx 1.25" further than what you currently have. (hopefully, this was easy to follow)

For wheels, I changed them a couple of times now but currently have 20x10-18 fuel just different than on my photo(they stick out about 2" or just over 1" beyond the stock fender flairs) the tires are still 35x12.5"

I have other photos that were posted just a couple of hours ago on a chrome delete thread. This should give you a good idea of spacing between tires and wheel weel and also the offset on 20x10 -18 wheels

I currently have a 4" BDS on order. I guess it will ship one day. Anyway, I am looking at 18" or 20" rims, depending on the tire. I have been looking at Discount Tire. Either the Goodyear Ultraterrains they offer or the Firestone Destination X/T. The Firestone comes in 35x12.5x18 or 20. The Goodyear only comes in 35x12.5x20.

I have liked the Goodyear Duratracs in the past on Jeeps. The Ram won't be going hard off road like a Jeep. I do live on a mountain that needs an aggressive snow tire for getting up hill on unplowed roads in the winter. The Firestone looks to have nice sipping for winter traction. Both have 3 Peak rating.

Does anyone have experience between the two?

The -18 is legit the exact look im going for. They look awesome. I think if I went with a 6" lift i would want 37's but I'm only 5'8" so I'd rather go with a 4" and 35's so I can actually get in The 4" with -18 would still require some trimming though to have 0 rubbing?

There is slight rubbing only when a hard left turns for me but I think I'll do very minor trimming soon or just heat it up and maybe ill be able to push the plastic back.
If I did it over again and did not have air suspension I would probably go 6" lift with 37 and Im only 5'7 1/2 hah I have to add that half to annoy my wife and it makes me feel better.

I wanna add 35x12.5 i got the 6112s and 5160s. I have off road bumper. With some trx rims wonder if i will fit .
I also wanna have spacers added to poke the rear and frnt out tothe buschwacker fender flares

Im not the person to ask yet but looks like with that bumper im guessing it will. if you look at all the trimming posts you can see what people are cutting off that bumper doesnt have

How is the ride quality with the motofab 3/2? Will the shocks bottom out or have any issues. Im not excited to spend way more but I want to make sure ride quality remains good and that if I keep the truck long term that I have no issues. Not sure which way to go. Also with a -13 or -18 offset you think they will still fit with minor trimming or in your opinion would the -13 be the better option (I know some of this is personal preference)

I drove the truck leveled with stock tires while I waited for my new tires to come in. You can tell the center of gravity is higher, but realistically it's the same spring and shock and the ride wasn't that different. The tires probably had more impact on the ride then the lift.

It's hard to tell on the offset impact, but I would think you could probably get by with the minor trimming.

The BDS website says 35/12.5s will fit the 4" lift with 18x9 rims with 5" backspacing.

I am having the lift installed now. I ordered 18x9 with a -6mm offset. I went with Firestone tires so they are really 34.5". Hopefully with the additional offset and the tires being slightly undersized everything will fit.

22x12 -44 offset with 35x12.5 Nittos 2" Readylift leveling kit. Had to trim but no more rubbing issues.
