I have it enabled, but have never seen anything in my cluster concerning my phone.

thanks

I hope so too. I searched the forum and the owners manual to no avail.

I believe it means when you receive a phone call, it will notify you on the radio but also through the cluster display.

Correct - I see phone calls come in there but not text messages.

I see. When I get phone calls they only show on the radio, but I use CarPlay most of the time. Does this setting only apply to Bluetooth?

@RamCares can you please clarify this functionality? It seems there isn’t any documentation on this. Thanks

I gota say @RamCares amazes me ..... don't seem to actually help anyone, nothing but marketing really on this site, tons of cluttering post (now got me adding to the clutter LOL), and now instead of helping by going to Ram engineers and actually getting an answer, the response is 'seems there isn't any documentation', duh, and asks for more info; @RamCares who are you exactly?

disconnect your carplay and have somebody call you. I only use bluetooth and 100% you see call details in the cluster

In their defense, they have helped numerous folks on this site with dealer and/or warranty issues, etc.
Perhaps not 100% of the time, but from what I've read and seen, they are doing their best with the tools FCA gives them.

Cheers,

I will try this and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.
