What Do the Trailer Brake Settings Actually Do?

Electrical is definitely not my thing, especially automotive. I have my trailer brake controller set around #5. The one thing that I do know is, I don't need my truck to tell me how long my trailer is, and how to back it up.

I have that trailer steering and it has to be calibrated every time you hook it up which makes it useless not to mention it has limits and doesnt allow oversteer
