Hi all, so I've running down the LSD rabbit hole, not the Alice in Wonderland kind...

I know the topic of LSD vs eLocker has been discussed a ton, but a few have mentioned that the anti-spin diff description says "electronic actuator" limited slip, so i started reading about electronic limited slips, which seem better than the traditional passive ones.... makes me feel a little better about using it in the snow.

I saw zf makes one and i believe our transmissions are from zf, right?

I know eton and dana also have them.

Anyone know which ones ram uses in the 2020?

An eLSD, is typically done through software and applies the brake ever so slightly on the spinning tire to transfer motion back to the tire that isn't spinning. Pretty much every vehicle does this now, I'm sure even the one-legger Ram's would "feel" like they have a limited slip due to this. Though in my experience it can have a lag and is not instantaneous.
An eLocker is an electronic locking diff, in the case of the Ram's it's only active under 25mph or something like that. It locks both rear axles together solid, great for off road or if you need a completely locked axle. Not so useful on the road as it can cause hopping, chirping etc. if you're making tight turns on dry pavement while it's engaged.
The Anti-spin diff is a mechanical limited slip with clutch packs in the rear end, there's nothing for you to do to activate it.

Hopefully this explanation helps you understand what parts your talking about.

Personally, I definitely prefer my anti-spin/limited slip diff. My BMW had the "eLSD", and there was a definite delay between punching it and the one wheel spinning before it "activated" and transferred power to the other wheel too. Made it somewhat unpredictable as it would spin one tire then a fraction of a second later the car would kick sideways.

As for who makes the Anti-spin diff and the eLocker for the Ram's, I'm not sure, possibly the axle manufacturer. I'm sure someone has an idea though.
