Welp my brand new Ram has 1300 miles on it and the check engine light is on again! WTH Ram! After all the stuff Ive read I am growing concerned!

The dealer doesn't delete options. It would have been deleted, or rather not installed, at the factory due to parts shortages
Right. Probably left out of the factory. Dealer just took the cost off instead of installing the actuator.

I think "dealer" was being too inclusive. I get the difference between factory and dealer installed options now, and how the process works.

I was just trying to relay that the window sticker is sometimes difficult to decipher. Owners don't quite understand what's there or not. What feature replaced the other.

While you're feeling all proud of yourself, I've seen this. It was an actuator for an electric tailgate. A negative amount on the window sticker stating dealer deleted. Why I don't know.

But go ahead. Pat yourself on the back.

Wow, internet is full of arrogant know it alls too. Nice to be in the presence of such genius.

Really was trying to avoid exactly what you're doing. Totally not necessary for an Internet argument. Just want to insult someone. Talk about a keyboard warrior.
I'm here for it, I enjoy it. I actually purchased an oversized hand to pat my back with. I then hit the easy button after.

I get someone all fired up. I am what I am. I help people when needed. I lock on people when needed. I pick them up if needed. I also enjoy the people that get upset over a pile of junk truck they purchased over something as trival as a check engine light. I know I paid 80k for a ses light, it shouldn't be on.

Yes I said that, the 2025 Ram is an absolute pile of junk. Stellantis has no clue on what they are doing, they are in save money at all cost mode. Their training is videos, hopefully someone in the service department watched it.

Stellantis has killed an American car line.

GM and Ford have done this during covid (and post covid). It's says right on the window sticker "deleted xxx" and the price deduction.

Glad you realized this. Some have been saying this for a while now...

Opinions are opinions. Your bloviating was more of an autobiography, but your inflated ego won't recognize it. As far as being fired up, that would imply your opinion means something to me. I assure you, it does not.
When you can put together some coherent sentences other than editorials, that will be a good day.

It my opinion meant nothing, scroll on. Why respond, if it meant nothing?

The OP truck needs either an auxiliary battery or the main fuse, i bet the battery. I have personally replaced no less than 6 batteries on the 2025 DT for this exact code.

Yes that is me bragging about having multiple experiences with this code, is that an ego problem?

I appreciate the banter.

I appreciate the experiences you share.

Take care. Scrolling engaged.

Got her back today... total of 3 codes needed an auxiliary battery after 1200 miles... the starter Relay and had to have a software update from the dealer. Now I have an option to trade for a 2023 colorado trail boss with 5000 miles on it. Not saying I'm gonna... but does the trade sound good? I don't wanna be 6 months in and be fuaked! Know what I mean? Thanks again and I appreciate you!

8 days and already have 1300 miles. Wow. Anyways, there is a known issue with check engine lights on the hurricanes, and it's supposedly just a software issue, but not sure if they have an update for it yet. Either way without knowing what the code is, this really is a waste of bandwidth
I drive a **** ton for my job... my previous truck I put 180 thousand on it in less than 5 yrs! Seems like a lot but it's really not.

Imagine all this huffing and puffing over a bad auxiliary battery. Then people who think dealers just delete options....the internet is a great place, full of misinformation and keyboard warriors.
Lol where's the misinformation?... keyboard warrior?... your the one being ****ty bub. We are talking about serious issues with our new trucks... wanna fight go play on FB.

Dealers deleting options, does that sound familiar?

A serous issue of what, a check engine light that the oil change person can diag and fix?
