Hi all,

Going to close on a Jay Flight 264BH next weekend and trying to nail down a distribution system.

4610# unloaded, 6000# gross.

Do you think the following setup is overkill, or about right?

Also, would the Hellwig sway bar have any different effect while towing than the normal effect it has on the truck? I really don't mind the amount of sway in the truck without it, but don't know if it will feel worse while towing.

Thanks in advance!

You'll do fine with that hitch. I bought one that was more than what I needed with my first trailer and ended up getting a bigger trailer the next year. So I didn't have to get another hitch. I've read the hellwig doesn't really help with towing. Most of the guys here say it doesn't make a difference pulling a trailer. But really helps the feel of the trucks cornering and reducing body roll and giving it a more "planted" feel.
