what is everyone using to help hard water or staining? I am not looking to spend $1000+. I typically try to wait until the sun goes down to wash my truck but wonder what affordable budget options you have tried to combat the hard water rinse.

There are lots of ways to remove them. But preventing them in the first place is the best solution. A quick search will give you more information than you’ll want. Found this with a 10 second search but feel free to search on your own…

I guess what I am asking is what water filters or rinse aid you all are using to keep water staining from occurring. i do not have any water stains on the truck right now because i get the water off fast enough when washing my truck.

hope this makes sense.

For my vehicles I rinse with deionized water from and use an Adam’s Air Cannon to blow the water off. These weren’t cheap though, but are very effective for the hard water I have at home.

The cheapest option I found is to install RV water filters on your hose. They last about 6 months but cost about $30 on Amazon for two. You still need to dry your truck after washing, but the water spots just wipe away.
HAVE A LINK PLEASE?

I tried cheaper options before going with the deionizer, including RV filters. None of them came close to being as effective. But we have very hard water where I live. I might have spent almost as much experimenting with filters as I spent on the deionizer. Buy once cry once would have been good advice for me lol.
