I recently had a local shop replace my radiator due to a pinhole leak in it, could have done it myself, but had a busy week and no time. It's a 21 1500 with the 3.6. It had the original coolant in it (purple), but when I got it back, the reservoir shows a fluid that is not purple, but an off purple. I asked the shop what coolant they added and they said they added Oreilly's coolant. They showed me the container and it does not say it's for Mopar. A search on the Oreilly's website by year make and model says the coolant "fits" my vehicle. Are they correct, or should the shop replace with the proper coolant? I added a snip of what the website says is correct.

Definitely don't need dex-cool. It's an OAT, your RAM should have a HOAT coolant

I've searched the forum and some say OAT is required... First time I'm hearing of HOAT...

Prior to replacing the radiator, I was adding coolant and this what I was adding... Is this OAT or HOAT?

You have that backwards. Our Ram trucks (2013 and up) use OAT, which is dex-cool compatible. OP will be fine using that.
