What would be the best to purchase from Mopar Direct.
Unlimited Engine & powertrain coverage starting at $1499.00 cash price
7yr, 100,000 mile Max Care coverage starting at $1999.00 cash price

It will be possible for me to hit 100K miles in 6 years

You did not state the deductible for these amounts.

I'd check out Zeigler using the PROMO CODE "payinfull", that will deduct $365 off the online price.

The best price probably is with the $100 deductible.
Curious as to why some are preferring the deductible? That could add up fast if it’s $100 for any repairs over multiple years. Is it $100/visit or $100 per problem? Big difference there.

$100 per visit.

Well, if you have the $0 deductible, you're paying MORE upfront. Depends on the plan you select.

What deductible would you prefer, and what is your reasoning?

For example. a 7 year, 100,000 mile ESP with a $100 deductible is 2190.

the same ESP with a ZERO deductible is $3090

Difference = $900 MORE with the ZERO deductible.

So, essentially, you're kind of paying for 9 visits up front that if you'd went with the $100 deductible... That's predicting you'd even need 9 visits.

Quotes taken off the Zeigler Website.

I'm looking at buying extended warranty soon too (probably 6 year 100k max plan)

I think I'll likely go with $200 deductible.
It is between $100 - $200 more for $100 deductible plan.
In my opinion, if I was at my 3rd visit ( which would be break even for cost difference and deductible), I've probably already saved hundreds to thousands, which I would already be satisfied with. If I don't make it to a 3rd claim, I'll be glad I saved the money up front.

Was looking more at the $0. Seems about 8-10 visits is break even on 7/8 year plans. I guess it depends if one wants a fixed price or wants to wish they don’t need as many visits. No strong winner either way just how one chooses to look at it.

Yeah, depends on what you want to spend up front.

The bigger question is would you really think you would keep your truck for 6 years. I would think not But that is only my opinion.

you can get a refund on an ESP, but its a pro-rated amount based off mileage/time.

One of the reasons I was asking, is because the dealer talked me into an extended warranty, I thought it was with Chrysler, but its with The Mechanic ( by Assurant ) , Platinum Plan, 60 Months or 100K, 100 deductible, cost was 1,822
I was thinking of trying to bet my money back and going with Chrysler

I bought my MaxCare the first week. I've used Ziegler many times and he beat the competition. I grabbed the 8 year/125k, with a $200.00 deductible. I paid $2105.00 and I had no coupon code, however I did call and remind them of my past purchases. I have a Life MaxCare (no longer offered) on my Grand Cherokee Summit with a $100.00 deductible. It has 60K now and I used the warrant 2X.
FCA factory warranties are top of the class. I'd stay far away from 3rd. party fraudsters.
